Thousands of President Obama supporters turned out in in Madison, Wisc., for a rally following Wednesday nights debate in Denver. The mood was somber, to say the least, as they waited to enter Bascom Mall at the University of Wisconsin Thursday afternoon. University of Wisconsin students and fellow Wisconsinites had mixed reviews on the president's performance.
I talked to supporters of the president who had watched the debate, asking how they thought the president did. One after the other said they were left unimpressed and not inspired, seemingly depressed and lethargic in their continuing support of the president.
More than half the people I asked, who thought the president could have done better, said it wasnt fair that President Obama was not allowed to use his teleprompter in the debate. And while a handful of supporters did say teleprompters had no place in the debate, one thought it was not only unfair to President Obama but both candidates.

Absolutely incredible! I couldn’t believe what these kids were saying — and with straight faces.
Lou Dobbs mentioned that O spoke for 4+ minutes more than Romney. But he wasted a minute by using the “ahs” and “ers” and the usual O speak when he doesn’t have the words written out for him.
I can hardly wait to see The New Yorker cover when it comes out! Another good one would be the empty chair and the teleprompters.
“And these people are in college? Studying what?”
This is University of Wisconsin in Madison...I rest my case...Dumb and Dumber...Useful Idiots...
It looks more and more like UW Madison will not be turning out any of our nations leaders for quite some time.
It was racism!/s
Why not? After all, apparently it simply depends on who you know and how cool you are.
It appears the youngsters know the real purpose of teleprompters are. They can be used for clandestine crib notes that many of the students use to cheat on exams.
LOL. More proof Obama has the questions in advance.
I think Romney should spot him a teleprompter and then go in without one. He’d win anyway.
UW Madison, the same place where doctors last year were issuing fake doctor’s notes so they could protest Scott Walker.
Anybody else see this???
Or maybe they should let him have an oxygen mask to battle the altitude !
Next debate at Wolf Pass Colorado, nice bunkhouse at the ranch there quite suitable for the event and it is about el.10000feet
I would have fired every last one of them. America gives ample opportunity to everyone. If you are a communist that believes in government communism, I suggest you work in a communist country. We are a free society that gives a days pay for a days work. No work, No pay.
That’s why teachers support Obama..they know that with a Democrat in the White House they can get away with being idiots and not teaching kids anything except to be a far lefty. If teachers were required to pass a test to prove they are qualified to be teachers you would see a lot of these garbage teachers being thrown out on their asses
How sad they take Obama ads on the video.
think Romney should spot him a teleprompter and then go in without one. Hed win anyway.
I agree, give him a promter and a list of questions to, then switc question and see how he make out, would be a laugh
I am surprised they didn’t think not being able to use his Blackberry was wrong. The president should be able to Google an answer during the debate. And have a lifeline. And poll the audience.
Hey,kiddos,it works like this. One thing you look for in a president is the ability to think clearly on your feet in a crisis.
