The Soldier’s Code

Hi, Luv! I HEARD that you were getting some flooding rain, and hope you didn’t get any damage.

I was there in the ‘68 flood, and then it was 4.75”. I had about four inches in my house! It was a MESS!

Hey, Yorkie!! We got nearly 6 inches, but it was a very slow soaking rain and didn’t damage anything around here. There were some flooded streets on Friday, and Midland closed their schools because of it but we didn’t.

The grass looks amazing now! Hubby’s not gonna like having to mow. LOL!

I never did get a kitten. I have a friend who has some new orange ones, though, so maybe when I get back from the trip for the shoot in Corpus. :)

I'm hoping for some cooler weather and they say low 80s so I hope they're right!
