I guess it would be boring to a Weinie! :)
An 85-year-old woman, all alone in a convent, got trapped inside an elevator for 4 nights and 3 days. Fortunately, she had a jar of water, some celery sticks, and a few cough drops. After she tried unsuccessfully to open the elevator doors and get a cell phone signal, she decided to turn to God in prayer. It was either panic or pray, she later told CNN. In her distress, she relied on God and waited till she was rescued.
Asa was also faced with the options of panic or pray (2 Chron. 14). He was attacked by an Ethiopian army of a million men. But as he faced this huge fighting force, instead of relying on military strategy or cowering in dread, he turned to the Lord in urgent prayer. In a powerful and humble prayer, Asa confessed his total dependence on Him, asked for help, and appealed to the Lord to protect His own name: Help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude (v.11). The Lord responded to Asas prayer, and he won the victory over the Ethiopian army.
When we are faced with tight spots, meager resources, a vast army of problems, or seemingly dead-end solutions, lets not panic but instead turn to God who fights for His people and gives them victory.

Love the upside down kitty. So cute!
Have a great Thursday!
Making popcorn for the debate tonight.
I am so excited over this upcoming debate. I need to get
some popcorn. Last time I bought popcorn, I got a box with
individual packages but the individuals would have fed
about four. I plan to stop and get popcorn because I love
it all the time!! I hope you all are as excited over the
poll numbers, etc. as I am. And I adore Paul Ryan and can’t
stand Biden! Hope he puts his foot in his mouth BIG TIME
tonight....LOL! My bad!
This debate is gonna be fun!...and popcorn will definitely be on tap for it! :)
I hope Ryan shreds him to pieces!
I was quoted on our local talk radio station saying this could be fun and hilarious if the gaff machine Biden gets too loose. That sound byte started at 6 am and ran most of the day.. LOL.
I adore Paul Ryan too. Not just because he grew up 30 miles from me either. It bodes well that he gets re-elected over and over in a democrat area like Janesville. I love the honest and wise visage he has when discussing things. He tells the truth and it shows in his eyes and demeanor.
Biden doesn’t stand a chance. Shall we keep a gaffe count on Joe? The dems will say it’s just Joe being Joe. I heard some say the debates don’t matter.LOL.Especially when their guys fail at them.
God Bless America with a new president and vice president and control of the House and Senate.
Congrats on getting on the radio! As always thanks for The Daily Bread installments. I read them everyday and look forward to them. Bless you for posting them so faithfully.
: )
Oh, the Dems are saying he won’t make any gaffes tonight! We will see, won’t we?
I got so tied up today doing my paper work and doing some errands that I haven’t had time to get back on here and its 7:00 now!
I am looking forward to tonight anyway!
So pretty, teenie! Thank you!
Sure wish I could have heard that sound byte, Rus! Glad they played it all day, too! It’ll be fun!!
I love to hear Paul Ryan talk! And he has very beautiful eyes, too! I just plain ole’ like the guy!!
Thanks, I enjoy posting ODB every day.
And BTW, I am on radio and TV quite a bit.
I am very political in Western NY and am not shy about saying so.. : )
Been on Glenn Beck, Cavuto, Fox and Friends and TV all over Buffalo and Albany.
I am a thorn in politicians side because I want accountability.
I lead the largest and most active TEA group in this end of the state.
