Last night, I gave in and cried. As the Mom of 3 kids, I feel hopeless. The polls show that Obama is winning, whether we try to deny it or not. I keep asking myself "Who are these so-called Americans who will re-elect this disaster we've had in office for almost 4 years?" I am scared. Scared for the lives my children will have to live, thanks to the resident currently occupying the White House. No, I will never call him my president..in my opinion, you have to EARN that title. And the man who currently occupies the White House is much more concerned about being popular with the "in" crowd..you know, the Hollywood Liberals. Who cares that gas prices have tripled since he took office? That food prices have skyrocketed? That most of us who work for a living are struggling from paycheck to paycheck while the lazy people live off of our hard work? Hopeless. I keep going back to that word..because I feel as though we have nowhere to go. And shock. Because I cannot believe we have so many stupid Americans in our country! Don't get me wrong. I will vote, and cast my vote for Romney. But really, is it enough? I don't think so. Fellow FReepers..is all lost, as I think it is?

You might want to check early voting statistics that LS, LDSentinal, many others and I have been posting to see what’s going on underneath the surface. Also check today’s rasmussen too - I see you last commented on a Ras poll from 9/20 - today’s numbers might cheer you up.
If the electoral process was open, honest, fair and trustworthy - there is no way in hell Obama wins.

As others have posted back to you in this thread, this is calculated psyops warfare by both the Obama administration and the MSM to discourage us. They are pulling out all the stops in order to keep "Dear Leader" in power. Chin up, we will show Obama the door on 11/6/2012!
You just have to do the best YOU can to help Romney win (see above); beyond that, we have to trust that God hears our prayers. If Obama should win — God forbid — the Lord will be counting on us to be stalwart and to trust in Him as events unfold. This world is not our final destination. I love the USA and I will fight for her, but I am keeping my eyes on eternity.
Stay hopeful about the election and put your faith in God.

LOL! One of my favorite movies of all time..thanks for giving me a laugh..I needed one! I am as right as one can be. I am on my local Republican Central Committee, and do what I can to help elect our candidates. After awhile, it’s so tough to ignore the media..and I don’t even watch any left-wing channels!
I didn't get that from her post. In fact, I have heard this type of sentiment from several that are not as politically engaged as most FReepers. For those that are part time political followers, and only catch the nightly news and newspaper headlines, I understand their dispair.
I watched Krissy last night on MSNBC for a segment. His added rhetoric on every single subject detail was off the reservation. The segment I watched was about voter ID laws in 17 states of 41 states that tried to pass ID laws (Racism was the soup of the day throught correspondent dialogue). I paused/rewound it and called my wife in to dissect the BS and point to the malfeasance and ignorance of his sory and target audience. My wife is pretty smart. Even she asked, "How could he say that on national TV? That doesn't even make sense."
The point is, we (FReepers) take our knowledge for granted. Others have to be spoonfed some simple logic that contradicts or highlights the nature of the MSM liberal agenda.
First, there was the Tea Party.
Then, there were the November 2010 elections. The dress rehearsal, so to speak.
Next, The Great Heave-Ho.

I was sad when Goldwater lost and very disappointed with Nixon's indiscretions. However at the present, I think the greater disaster will be Obama’s reelection!! It is not looking good — Republican and independent turn out seems our only hope. Some of us promote and pass the word as much as possible — I'm looking for ways to do more!!
Express your concerns and plead for your family and friends’ help in electing Romney!! He is a gentleman and competent by several orders of magnitude relative to Obama!! God bless!
