‘Back in the day’ gets my vote as the MOST disgusting and most overused.

The only words in the field of politics, that I can stand hearing, will be:
“THE POLLS HAVE CLOSED.”
At that time, it will be to imbibe sparkling apple cider, and relax, or brew a fresh cup of coffee, and go down to the castle keep’s armory, and start the necessary preparations within.
To: Jerry Attrick
At the end of the day, yes. I am fundamentally sick of buzz words.

My favorite is...
"The reality is..."
I don't give a FF what his/her reality is.
I prefer, "Experience has taught us..." followed by unambiguous examples.

"Millionaires and billionaires"
"Tax cuts for the rich"
"Fairness"
"Everybody agrees" which is closely related to "most economists agree"
"Supporting corporations with tax subsudies" Absolutely necessary to add, at the head of that list :
"Fair Share"
"Fair shot," as in every lazy, indolent useless POS should have a "fair shot" to be a Brain Surgeon or a Rocket Scientist...
.. as if they didn't already...

“Sources close to ____ say...” or “There are some who say...” which translated means “Listen closely to this s*** we just made up out of whole cloth...”

Fun"da*ment (?), n. [OE. fundament, fundement, fondement, OF. fundement, fondement, F. fondement, fr. L. fundamentum foundation, fr. fundare to lay the bottom, to found, fr. fundus bottom. See Fund.] 1. Foundation. [Obs.] Chaucer.
2. The part of the body on which one sits; the buttocks; specifically (Anat.), the anus. Hume.
It's fitting.
To: dfwgator
That's the ticket! Although, I heard that some say they were five transvestite hookers.

“Folks” is “Missouri and Illinois” Midwestern, which is where a lot of Germans settled. Sorry it bothers you but I’ve heard it since I was a kid and am partial to it.
