no..but folks is really getting old. Folks this , folks that..by Rush and other copycats on radio. What ever happened to people? I like people, sounds more American. Folks is German, isn’t it?
“Folks” is “Missouri and Illinois” Midwestern, which is where a lot of Germans settled. Sorry it bothers you but I’ve heard it since I was a kid and am partial to it.
