Does it taste OK?

In a post apocalyptic world, I expect that irradiated beer would rate at least as good a review as SGT Mulcahy gave the indian trader's rotgut:

Tis better than no beer a'tall.

Shoulda used Genessee from Rochester NY for the test. It would laugh at anything less than a Tzar Bomba/Castle Bravo blast.

It’s serious beer... ;)

Any food is fine, as long as there’s no fallout dust actually in the food. Brush the fallout thoroughly off of the package before taking it indoors and opening it. As for the flash before the fallout, no problem for well packaged food there, either.

You won’t have to turn on the light to go pee in the middle of the night.

They truly were the "Greatest Generation."

Broke the sound barrier, went to the moon in Campbell soup cans and drank nuked beer while smoking Lucky's straight.

Isn’t heavy beer made from heavy water? Coors light is just the remnants coming out the other end after good beer is consumed.

Should have used Old Frothingslosh then they could advertise “the pale stale ale with the mushroom cloud on the bottom.”

Wait a minute! The beer that was tested was in the old style solid topped steel cans and bottles with the cork lined caps. We need do some atmospheric nuke testing to test out our modern pop-top aluminum cans and plastic lined twist-caps. To hell with the treaties, this is important.

This is a logical test. Beer was used for thousands of years for our basic drink because it was safer to drink then water
