Now celebrating 52 years of helping people on the radio! For over half a century Roy Masters has been helping people overcome their most difficult problems. As the nations first and longest running radio counselor, Roy Masters has advised callers with a unique ability to hear inner problems, heal fears and sexual stresses, and help people take charge of their own lives. Great show and exactly what the world needs! Here is a radio show stations page... http://www.fhu.com/radiostations.html
Your again flat wrong. Masters idea of “be still and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10) is NOT what Scripture is speaking of, as has been shown, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2931985/posts?page=377#377but consistent with Masters unScriptural ethos of “be still,” you presume your meditating perception makes it so, rejecting Scripture supreme as well as exegetical analysis of it.
I know what the Be Still is because I have been practicing it for many many years. I also am familiar with the eastern types and they get people more involved in the thought word, not less like the Be Still does. It is the actual Be still and know that I am God of the bible because the stillness it is speaking of is in the mind...the very place where the devil attacks us. it is really too bad you are so closed off...just be honest, listen to it once for free, and then come back here and admit that you were very wrong. That would take a true miracle, but could happen!
Do you play the Twilight Zone theme music in the background as you do this fabie?
Cults often make use of hypnotic states to help control their members. This is important to know. The cult leader is often a charismatic fellow who can impress people with his supposed kindness, brilliance, charm or good looks, perhaps. Cults also hypnotize people with slogans, phrases, words, political ideas like equality for all or lets save the earth.
and masters teaches hypnotism . . . . . hmmmmmm
o brother...that is so old and I know Linda...she is an angry woman and a liar concerning Roy.
No; because HE is the Word!
It is US who 'need' the scriptures; EXACTLY what I posted.
Now he thinks he’s Jesus or John the Baptist.

Nothing to refute; as you keep on IGNORING what has been plainly WRITTEN.
Luke 10:26
"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"
Thank you for not judging.
Poor Fabian; displaying the fact that he does NOT read Scripture.
So sad...
Luke 1:3-4
3. Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,
4. so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
Thanks for not judging; again.
There is NO evidence of it in this thread...
What do you judge to be a lie in that video?
consistent in everything others say about roy boy.
Linda is a bitter woman just like you actually. If you cannot see a really decent man like Roy, then I am not going to try and convince you otherwise. Linda lies about the true kind and good nature of Roy and took her case to a stupid TV show that would hear it.
Amazing to me what passes for Christianity today.
He loves himself in front of the mirror all day long
►Sometimes you will hear, quite distinctly, words "spoken" to you in short phrases. Do not be alarmed.236 <
That is NOT a quote from Roy as you seem to be presenting. Why don't you be honest and put the actual source
Though i lost the formatting because some html must have been in there (my bad, but also in your post) the quotes are numbered, and the sources from Masters works were right there in the link they came from, if you cared to look. (http://www.theworldviewcenter.org/encyclopedia_foundationforhumanunderstanding.html)
Meanwhile my comments that, "Under which you realize esoteric understanding independent of the Scripture, and then the Bible can mean whatever you think it means in confirming what you already concluded." is just what he teaches.
For enlightened understanding comes first, and he denies that the Bible is holy, but that it is his understanding that is holy, and the Bible can be used for toilet paper (or discarded later), as also referenced. (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/waltermartindotcom/2011/06/05/walter-martin-takes-on-roy-masters.mp3)
Here is the whole post with the formatting.
Where do you find it? Well, not on the basis by conflating textual evidence thru studying the Scriptures as evidenced therein, (Lk. 24:27; Acts 17:11; 28:23), but by first entering into Masters mind-numbing occultist meditation:
►The evidence of a Higher Presence in meditation is [manifested by] a change in breathing.233
►Cold shivers, occasional perspiration, and labored or heavy breathing reveal contact-response to a higher consciousness. It means something has been added that is causing changes to occur.234
► Occasionally you will feel suspended in space, as if your body had melted into the universe and become "one" with all nature. . . . You will find yourself expressing wisdom and knowledge that you never outwardly learned or heard before.235
►Sometimes you will hear, quite distinctly, words "spoken" to you in short phrases. Do not be alarmed.236 Under which you realize esoteric understanding independent of the Scripture, and then the Bible can mean whatever you think it means in confirming what you already concluded.
►One day, after discovering many things, the Spirit will lead you to read Scripture. At that time you will find joy on accepting the Witness to the Scriptures, rather than verses and chapters. What a contrast this is to accepting the Bible as the word of God: " And afterward, having begun without the Scriptures, and with your own spirit being supreme - judging Scripture rather than Scripture judging them - then you can discard it later.
►The whole process of growing is not from words but from realizing and then you can throw your Bible in the garbage can and there's no sin in that.137
►The Scriptures can poison you, and destroy you. They are lethal, they are deadly. They are more deadly than any drug.138
And it is not the Bible that is holy, but the revelation gained under Masters meditation is what he considers holy, while the Bible can be used as toilet paper. (Walter Martin Takes on Roy Masters], audio debate)
[So] I threw a Bible in the garbage can. That Bible can go in the garbage can just as soon as anything can go in the garbage can. Slop can go in the garbage can, because the Bible isn't God.136 http://www.theworldviewcenter.org/encyclopedia_foundationforhumanunderstanding.html
It is good that you keep responding, because it means Masters is progressively exposed more and more for the Gnostic-type false apostle that he is.
>the spoken word is more powerful than the written but you are stuck on the bible as your sort of base...rather than the holy spirit.<
In-credible! The more rope you are given the more your perverse doctrine is exposed. Do you realize what you are saying? That what you subjectively understand thru your esoteric meditation is supreme, versus the written words of Scripture being the base, and which premise is one that anyone can use to assert truth.
Without a tangible transcendent authority then anyone can claim to teach truth, and making oneself or church supreme over Scripture is a sure mark of cults. And making what you subjectively think the Holy Spirit says to be supreme, and which rejects exegetical analysis of words and texts of Scripture, versus the written words of Scripture being the base, is just the opposite of what the Holy Spirit says in Scripture. For it is abundantly substantiated that the written word was the supreme transcendent authority for obedience and examining truth claims, once it was given, (http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/Bible/2Tim_3.html#Partial) while men like Moses had mighty signs and wonders and holiness that affirmed that he was the chosen instrument of God to pen Scripture.
For indeed God commanded Moses to write His words, (ex. 34:27) and he did so until he “made an end of writing the words [plural] of this law in a book, until they were finished, “ (Deuteronomy 31:24) Thus when dealing with those who also spoke by “familial spirits, God commanded, “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples,” (Isaiah 8:16) and, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20)
And while some of Scripture was first oral, additions to it were established upon Scriptural substantiation, and not on the basis of Masters type of mind-numbing “meditation.” Thus the Lord Jesus substantiated His claims and mission work by the words of Scripture (Mt. 22; Lk. 24:25-27) and called men to “search the Scriptures,” (Jn. 5:39) which appeal to its words the early church very much engaged in, and the NT contains about 250 quotes from the old, and in a way which often reveals exegetical understanding of the very words.
And no one would assert that you can use the pages of Scripture in the toilet, or that ones understanding is supreme and you can throw the Bible away. Or contrast speaking by the holy spirit with making the Bible ones base for truth, which again is a cultic license to deception.
sorry ...that is not Roy’s site nor Roy’s quote. If anyone wants to hear from Roy thay need to go to www.fhu.com.
Why don’t you be honest...you are not.
