I thought Michelle Obama gave a great speech last night. Too bad the lackeys in the MSM will not even do a cursory fact check of some of the things she said.
The most obvious and demonstrable falsehood she put out involved Obama's grandmother and her struggles to break through the 'glass ceiling' in the 1960's-1980's. He knows what it means when someone doesn’t have a chance to fulfill their potential,” said Mrs. Obama. Barack Obama was born in 1961, his grandmother started at the Bank of Hawaii in 1960. Obama moved to Indonesia when he was a child and did not return to Hawaii to live with his grandmother until he was 10, which would have been 1971. His grandmother was promoted to Vice President of the bank in 1970, the year before Obama moved back to Hawaii. She retired as VP in 1986 and when she died left Barack $500,000 in bank stock. One would assume she left Barack's half sister the same amount of stock or other assets. As it took her 10 years at the bank before she became VP, and these years were when Obama was an infant and/or living in Indonesia, where are the two decades of watching men no more qualified than her get promoted? His grandmother only worked for the first 25 years of Obama's life, he was in Indonesia for 8 and she was VP for the last 16. Are we to believe that as VP she had to get up before dawn to take the bus to get to the bank? Another question about her 'struggles' is how did Obama get into the most exclusive private school in Hawaii? One would think his grandmother had a lot to do with it. Everything about Obama's struggles in Hawaii is just another fiction invented by the Obama's to con the people. Obama was living with his successful grandparents in Hawaii, going to the most exclusive private school in the islands. His only struggle growing up in Hawaii was probably where to score some beer and dope for himself and his 'Choom Gang'.

I didn’t manage to watch the whole thing but one thing that jumped out at me was the difference in the people interviewed. Republicans seem knowledgeable and educated about the issues going into the platform and many of the democrats seem to just be supporting a brand.
Somebody’s gonna pay for letting her talk like a conservative and pretend to care about self determination.
Michelle was the one who instructed Obama to make like Christian, aiming for the presidency.
