Each team will have a returning player who was removed from play in a previous season because of illness or injury. Spoiler sites have named the supposed returning players and the regular media has picked it up. I won't be listed them yet, but you are free to do so on this thread.

The cast includes retired major league baseball player Jeff Kent (2000 National League Most Valuable Player with the San Francisco Giants) and actress Lisa Whelchel (The New Mickey Mouse Club, The Facts of Life).
Kalabaw Tribe: Carter, Dana, Jeff, Katie, Sarah, returning player to be named later
Matsing Tribe: Angie, Denise, Malcolm, Roxanne Roxy, Zane, returning player to be named later

During his playing career, former Mets, Giants and Dodgers second baseman Jeff Kent was known as a fierce competitor. In fact, he was known to be so intense that often even his own teammates took offense, as the now-44-year-old was known to get into the ocassional clubhouse scuffle.
For instance, during the 1992 season he refused to participate in his own rookie hazing ritual with the Mets, and by that point had already earned a reputation for his hot-headedness and for keeping to himself far too much. And, 10 years later, in 2002, Kent and star Barry Bonds famously were reported to have engaged in a shoving match in the Giants' dugout.
So, considering all the bad feelings and in-fighting that Kent experienced throughout his big league career, he should be the perfect contestant for "Survivor", right?
15 MINUTES OF FAME
Sports is the ultimate "unscripted TV." No wonder so many athletes have appeared on reality shows. Well, that is apparently exactly what the producers of the show thought, as well, as Kent made his debut on the program on Wednesday. Kent claimed he wasn't treated any differently than any normal civillian trying out for the show, but at least two things are worthy of noting there. For one, Kent starred on "Survivor: Philippines" alongside fellow celebrity and former Facts of Life star Lisa Welchel. And, Kent has participated with reality TV before, appearing on the show "Superstars" with fellow contestant Ali Landry.
Throughout his career, Kent was also known for some bizarre injuries, most notably breaking his wrist during spring training in 2002. Kent originally claimed he suffered the break while washing his car, but it eventually surfaced that the injury ocurred while he was popping wheelies on his motorcycle.
Then it had to be a little bit appropriate that Kent reportedly suffered torn knee ligaments during a scene with a raft on Wednesday no more than 10 minutes into the episode. It remains to be seen how the injury will affect him going forward, but we hope that it doesn't force his fellow castaways' collective hand in voting him off the island.
They haven't even had the chance to know Kent and dislike him, yet.
Will they be eating balut and washing it down with San Miguel beer? :P
Three words - Bless their hearts.
Zane, Zane, Zane... I just quit smoking and can’t run. I lost the challenge for the team. I just don’t do physical. And I have already made alliances with her and him and that guy over there and even the chicken and the camera guy!!! He not only threw himself under the bus but threw it in reverse about 6 times to get run over again and again. That ranks right up there with whatshisname giving the II to someone else. Still, good for some laughes.
Russell, Russell, Russell... I don’t want to be leader. Someone else can step up to the dictator plate. Now, every listen to MEEEEE! Yes, even you camera guy and hey, you chicken you better do as I say! The only thing that saved his hide was he doesn’t pass out at the least bit of exertion. Crikey, the II is RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE!
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa... I had high hopes for you but you’re going to blow it if you don’t get in with the perky booby click. Poor accident prone Mike has tried to tell you this so start listening before they send you packing.
Mike, Mike, Mike... Stay away from fires, sharp instruments, sand, sticks, air, etc. Please, keep trying to save Lisa from the chopping block.
Jeff, Jeff, Jeff... has there ever been a contestant who injured themselves before making it to camp? I called it he wouldn’t make jury but didn’t know he’d be limping down the walk of shame so early.
Yeah. Lisa, you need to take your pants off.
Just saying....
Skupin, Stubin, ScoobieDoo... whatever his name is, he’s shooting for first person to be medi-eliminated twice.
What a train wreck.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)

My bet is Russell’s team places 3rd in the IC, the team blames him and he takes a walk alone from TC.
I figure since Lisa from the Facts of Life is shown having a breakdown in the previews, then she is probably safe from tonight's vote.
Ah, true - but is that editor misdirection?
Could be. I also read where Lisa had just divorced her husband then went to Survivor not too long after that. That might have been on her mind a little.
Sorry to see the moron go home last week. He looked like he could be a classic good time.
My favorite was when he announced that his "send me home" strategy was brilliant chess play, then added "I hope they king me!"
King me is a checkers term! No wonder he's gone.
I also enjoy how Russell constantly talks about how only morons want to be in charge, while constantly taking charge.
So far, I'm rooting for returning survivor Jonathan. He seems like a smart dude.
Well, it seems like this season’s crop of players have studied the game and perfected the art of painting targets on their back.
Well last night’s episode could not have been scripted any better:
Boy and girl cuddling up together at night to keep warm during the cool nights. Uhuh.
Jealous girl all upset targets cuddle girl for elimination and tries to get her voted out.
Jealous girl succumbs herself and gets voted out instead — 3 to 2.
The deciding vote that saved the cuddlers from being broken up was by none other than [music please] — the sex therapist.
Did anyone think that the sex therapist was going to vote to break up the cuddlers???
What was jealous girl thinking???
Combined Immunity and Reward challenge winners: Tandang (first place), Kalabaw (second place)
Kalabaw Tribe (red buffs): Carter, Dana, Dawson, Jeff, Jonathan, Katie
Matsing Tribe (blue buffs): Angie, Denise, Malcolm, Russell
Tandang Tribe (yellow buffs): Abi-Maria, Artis, Lisa, Michael, Pete, RC

Immunity Idol status - Kalabaw: Jonathan found an idol but hasn't told anyone about it yet.
Immunity Idol status - Matsing: Russell found a clue but hasn't told anyone about it yet.
Immunity Idol status - Tandang: RC found a clue and told Abi-Maria about it.

Minor correction there Uncle Chip, Russell voted for "Jealous girl" too.
After 25 seasons, Roxy never learned that jealousy and a mouth will get you sent home faster than a clueless twosome.
Glad Lisa is still around to learn the social game. With the editing of her talking evicting Mike next week, he's save as in his mama's arms and is going nowhere. Yes, she did just get divorced so this is a lot on her shoulders. Ugh, I cringe whenever she mentions the Mickey Mouse Club because I know for a fact that state inmates would cause problems if they didn't get their afternoon prev fix watching that show.
Whaa, I knew were were coming to a challenge but I didn't drink any water so don't pick me. Whaa, I'm a track star so got mad because I wasn't picked to run last time but don't pick me to run this time because I'm too delicate. Never thought I'd say this but the sex therapist may be the smartest one on that team.
Cookies! Yep, cookies will motivate us to the win next week.
I missed that. They sure edited that deceptively.
No wonder cuddle girl looked so confident at Tribal Council.
How long before the old switcheroo happens or will they let this lame tribe go to zero players? We started out with eighteen people on three tribes. We are now down to sixteen. Maybe at fourteen they will form two tribes of seven. I guess we will find out in the weeks to come.
It still amazes me how dumb some of these survivors are. Do they even bother to watch the series and try to figure out a good strategy or do they read the book titled "How to alienate friends and influence people to vote you out"?
I think Cookie’s or Cupcake’s tribe just got rid of some deadwood. Down to 4 they will be desperate for a win next week and should get it. This new format can’t fail in the third week.
Cookie the model who wants more camera time and more cuddletime during those cold? Philippine nights will do her best to make it happen. And CBS which does as well will do all it can to oblige.
