Survivor: Philippines is the 25th season of Survivor. It begins September 19, 2012 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
'Survivor: Philippines': Jeff Probst explains the big twist for next season
Each team will have a returning player who was removed from play in a previous season because of illness or injury. Spoiler sites have named the supposed returning players and the regular media has picked it up. I won't be listed them yet, but you are free to do so on this thread.
This season takes place in Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
The cast includes retired major league baseball player Jeff Kent (2000 National League Most Valuable Player with the San Francisco Giants) and actress Lisa Whelchel (The New Mickey Mouse Club, The Facts of Life).
Kalabaw Tribe: Carter, Dana, Jeff, Katie, Sarah, returning player to be named later
Matsing Tribe: Angie, Denise, Malcolm, Roxanne “Roxy”, Zane, returning player to be named later
Tandang Tribe: Abi-Maria, Artis, Lisa, Peter "Pete", Roberta “R.C.”, returning player to be named later

Eliminated: Angie, Dana, Dawson, Katie, Roxy, Russell, Zane
Immunity Idol status: Abi-Marie found an idol; Pete and Malcolm know about it. Malcolm found another idol; Denise and Lisa know about it.

We’ll see if Lisa is part of a “blindside” or if the “blindside” is voting off Penner - who is the dead man walking.
Well that was an interesting episode.
Lisa did have a plan but she talked too much. Got too many people spun up.
But with all that spinning her, Artis, Carter, Denise and Stu still appear to be off the board as main targets.
Looks to be like the main targets next week will be Pete, Abi, Mal or Penner.
That was some TC - lots of laundry got aired.
Wow, that was a crazy episode. Lisa had a good plan, she just trusted the info to the wrong person.
Pete couldn’t just use the info she gave him. He just had to start asking questions. I think Pete just couldn’t believe he wasn’t totally in charge of everyone.
I can’t wait for next weeks episode.
I wonder if Pete is feeling a little nervous right now, especially since he now knows that Malcom has an ii and voted against him??? How long will he be able to keep his little 3-some + Lisa + Skupin together. Had Penner not voted for Abbi, Pete could have been gone last night.
The previews indicate that Lisa might jump to the other side next week but based upon what she said at tribal last night she is too attached to Pete's team to do so.
I'm thinking that Skupin is in a pretty good position as the power vote. We're down to 9 and his might be up for grabs. Will he hang with Pete or go with the PennerMalcomDeniseCarter group???

I just caught myself up on the Ponderosa. My goodness ... RC sure does giggle a LOT! If that’s how it was at camp no wonder they wanted her gone.
I bet RC jiggles a lot too. Last night Jeff Kent was thrown out at the plate.
Blah, can’t stand RC. Everytime they showed her this season she’s been posing for the camera and she did it last night, too. Didn’t understand why the camera kept going back to her.
Yes, I cringed when Lisa told Malcolm had the II. People can’t keep secrets. Pete needs to be the target next week. Then Abi and the mute Carter. Wished that when Probst ask if anyone was playing their II that Malcolm would have said, “Ladies first” and Abi had played it. Loved that Probst said they might come to regret the votes.
Penner still has his neck on the line and odds are he won’t win another II but I’m hoping he outlasts Pete, Abi, the near invisible Artis and Carter. Go, mature folk!
Did you notice Jeff made a comment about Obama taxing him? Woohoo! That’s another vote hussein didn’t get.
LOL ... no doubt she does. I think she was the happiest first juror I’ve ever seen on Survivor.
Lisa gamed up last night but I really thought she'd keep that idol to herself. I don't want Malcom to go. Maybe she'll see the light this week and flip to the good side. Lord I hope so. I can't stand Abi.
I think it's kind of funny how Jeff made such a big deal about wanting Penner and Skupin gone before him and look where he is now.

Well for Pete’s sake, what made them think that Abbi would let go of that ii and give it up for anyone, much less for Pete’s sake. And Artis paid the price —
Well, it was close, but I made the switch from Duck Dynasty to Survivor just in the nick of time.
