This guy builds himself robohands from scrap metal and homemade pully system on the cheap. They're heavier and can get hot and cold, but they seem to work

and I say, "hold muh beer and watch this"- Sun Jifa lost both his hands when a homemade blast-fishing bomb exploded prematurely.

While I frown on blasting for fish - it sounds like this guy is doing what he needs to do to survive in Communist China. And to build his own prosthetics - and then work with them! Good for him.

I'm with 21twelve, give this guy a break. Yeah, it was stupid to go fish bombing but he suffered because of it. He might have needed the fish too. Desperation for food for yourself or friends and family can make you do stupid things.

Why does it “serve have my rigbt”. He may not get enough to eat. Only in this fat AZZ lazy country can we afford to be picky about our food. Or spend more for greenpower while shuttering perfectly functioning coal fired plants. Or funding Cash for Cliunkers where we dumpster fine automobiles and consequently raise the rice of used cars. Or wave a magic and magically mandate 54 mpg cafe standards.
The rest of the world is not so picky.
Look at the quality of the metal work coming from that primitive shop. He manned up, and took care of things.

Wow, the story has everything. Stupidity, desperation, ingenuity, not giving up. While nobody here probably thinks it’s a good idea to dynamite fish, you can sympathize with the guy for not giving up and actually solving his own problems. Now he wants to develop models for other disabled people because the chinese hospital prosthetics are too expensive for most.
Universal human drive there.

as for his fishing techniques, if he was American he would be labeled as a stupid redneck and featured as a fool who got what he deserved. Also would be fined by fish & game, EPA and arrested by the BATF
