Palin calls on Obama to dump Biden in favor of Hillary Clinton (in their heads rent free)
Daily Mail UK ^ | 8/15/2012 | Toby Harnden

Sarah Palin has said that Joe Biden’s controversial ‘put y’all back in chains’ comment should be the ‘nail in the coffin’ for his career and suggested Barack Obama replace him on the 2012 ticket with Hillary Clinton.

She added that she hoped Obama would not take such a step because ‘an Obama/Clinton ticket would have a darn good chance of winning’.

But Palin’s unsolicited advice to Obama, while clearly mischievous, underlines the extent to which Biden has become a national laughing stock and a potential liability for the Democrats, despite his popularity among party activists and much-vaunted authentic style and working class roots.

You think the egotistical Obama will concede his VP is an idiot and he is a fool for picking him?
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

NEVER HAPPEN!!! Obama is too narcissistic to admit that he made any mistake in his life. He will not replace Biden. That would be saying that he made a mistake; won’t happen.

lol

I understand what you are saying. I am not a Palin fan either.

But this could be a good thing. If Palin makes this her pet issue, Obama may be forced to keep Biden, so it does not look like he is taking Palin’s advice.

If 0bama dumps Biden, it’s over for Obamugabe.

Especially if it's for clinton.

I have this mental image of those old Wyle E Coyote cartoons with pianos falling out of the sky and ACME devices all over the place.

Does anyone really believe Hillary would wait another 4 years being that close? How soon we forget about the clintons.

...precisely! It’s brilliant strategy.

Agreed but I'll bet the majority of "enlightened" FReepers won't recognize it as such until Rush explains it to them!!!

I know I'll get flamed for that comment but let's get real, we do have our fair share of dim bulbs..........

I think Hillary’s relationship with Huma has the potential to be the death knell for the Demons. Prayfully, for a very long time.

I don't know what you think I'm talking about, but I can guarantee you you are wrong.

It's one of the al Quada documents recovered in Afghanistan that explains Hillary's control by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Pretty hard arguing with Osama bin Laden himself.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. May not be Hillary. Just may be Debbie Wasserman. Whomever Obama picks, I hope that team Romney is prepped and truly ready for battle by convention time.

“...she will not be given the opportunity to restore our country.”

Oh she is doing just that ...from the bottom up..which is the only way possible. The Presidency, at this point in time, does NOT accomplish that.

Another few state legislature election cycles and Federal election cycles...say by the mid 2020’s..we can be looking at a whole new ball game.

I agree. He is too proud. He is all knowing and above the rest of us so to take someones opinion and act on it will never happen. Don't forget he's SUPER smart!

On a side note I never took the “I can see Russia from my backyard.” as she really thought she could. She was just saying how close Russia really is to the US in a sarcastic manner. I don't think this was a measure of her smarts people! I think had Obama said it the media would have said of course he was being sarcastic to make a point. She said it and it was spun that she was dumb. I do like Sarah. I think she is a great American who wants to make a difference. I just don't think she is right for the top job. Great leaders have great support people. She's great at that!

Amazing, isn’t it, that the press kept up for so long on Republicans that may bump their heads or spell a word wrong, but we have Abbott and Costello in office and the mainstream media does all it can to ignore their stupidity.

Palin suggesting this so publically probably reduces the chance it will happen. Obama will really look foolish if he switches VPs now.

YOU DIDN’T JUST NAIL IT, YOU HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!

The dims will be damned if they ever take Palin’s advice, so in a way she has trapped them with “Slow Joe”....

You are absolutely right. That's what she's doing here. Advising them to do what they are surely thinking of doing anyway.

Now, if they do it, Palin can say, "now the rats are taking my advice!"

I fail to see the logic of this often-quoted idea. How, exactly, would replacing a VP who’s spinning out of control make people reject Obama?

Smart move by Palin in my humble opinion. There is absolutely no way Obama would consider taking any advice from her and this pretty much puts a nix on that ever happening. And even so, I think it is clear that Clinton looks tired and haggard and sick of the whole thing anyway.

I posted this up thread and will post again. She was answering a question about Russia. If we continue to let the lies of the left, and right continue, we are done with. SP represents my values. I thought I shared at least some values with R’s. but they have shown me that we don’t share too many any more.

The easiest thing in the world is to show up a lie, and most Americans don’t like liars. She would have been such a good candidate, and the easiest one to defend, unlike Romney. All this talk about political chess and staying on campaign message, well, we’ll see if it works out.

#From the Thursday, September 11, 2008, World News:

CHARLES GIBSON: Let me ask you about specific national security situations. Let’s start, because we are near Russia. Let’s start with Russia and Georgia. The administration has said, we’ve got to maintain the territorial integrity of Georgia. Do you believe the United States should try to restore Georgian sovereignty over South Ossetia and Abkhazia?

SARAH PALIN: First off, we’re going to continue good relations with Saakashvili there. I was able to speak with him the other day and giving him my commitment, as John McCain’s running mate, that we will be committed to Georgia. And we’ve got to keep an eye on Russia. For Russia to have exerted such pressure in terms of invading a smaller democratic country, unprovoked, is unacceptable. And we have to keep...

GIBSON: You believe unprovoked?

PALIN: I do believe unprovoked. And we have got to keep our eyes on Russia. Under the leadership there.

GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of this state give you?

PALIN: They’re our next door neighbors. And you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska.

GIBSON: You in favor of putting Georgia and Ukraine into NATO?

PALIN: Ukraine, definitely, yes. Yes, and Georgia. Putin thinks otherwise. Obviously he thinks otherwise.

GIBSON: And under the NATO treaty, wouldn’t we then have to go to war if Russia went into Georgia?

PALIN: Perhaps so. I mean that is the agreement. When you are a NATO ally, is, if another country is attacked, you are going to be expected to be called upon and help.
