The fix is in. The fix was always in.

Is every presidential election from now on going to pit a Dem communist against a GOP librul with a tea party underling.

The GOP-e sold us out long ago. They were never our friend. Not Daddy Bush, not Baby Bush and not Romney. No clue how Reagan squeaked by the machine.

Yes, I will idiot librul Romney into office to get rid of the Soros hand-picked, anti-American radical communist Muslim foreigner currently occupying the White House and his tyrannical wife, because we can't survive another 4 years of them and Jarrett and Axelrod, et. al., but the fix is clearly in that the GOP is not about restoring our lost liberty.

The commie Dems want us oppressed, but the GOP-e just wants house slaves to feed their labor and tax machines. Conservatives have no representation. Puke.

No, Ryan does not make voting for Romney more palatable any more than Palin did for McLame. Both tickets were upside down and both tickets tell you everything you need to know about the GOP-e.

I'm disgusted.

Nothing prevented Ryan from running for the nomination except Ryan. Though I did not vote for Romney he got the most votes. Such is life.

I feel better about supporting the Romney candidacy now that Ryan is the pick. I was already planning to support him anyway though.

The problem is the RATs will demagogue the Medicare issue into the ground and Ryan will cost Romney far more votes than he wins him.

As much as I personally love Paul Ryan, I think this race just went from a slight Obama advantage to an overwhelming one. Romney will now likely lose at least as badly as McCain did — maybe worse.

Who did you want on the ticket?

I ask that not as a jibe, but genuinely wondering.

I think Romney is a damn poor candidate. But I didn’t see anybody else out there taking the electorate by storm, either among those running or those not.

Excuse me, but WE did this. I believe there was a little thing called the primaries.

We had more than half a dozen good, conservative candidates and we ate our own.

We voted (or didn’t vote) and we got what we deserved.

Search: republican primaries voter turnout

Our turnout was dismal and inexcusable. It was the same in 2008.

Now Romney has given us a good, solid conservative as his running mate and, if things go well, a future presidential candidate. If Romney does manage to turn this economy around, he’ll get a second term then Ryan will be the heir apparent 8 years from now.

IMHO, the GOP did *US* a favor and gave us a shot at a really good guy for the long run. They undid OUR mistake.

We live in a Republic. We get the government we deserve.

Once again the ticket is upside-down

You know you can say the same thing about the Dem ticket in 2008

Biden is a tried and true libtard of the first degree, nationally known...Obama was am almost unknown...

And continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different outcome is pretty damn stupid.

I like Ryan a lot but I don’t expect a huge long lasting bump for Romney out of it.

Let’s just hope that — should Mittens end up losing in ‘12 — the CINOs in control of the party don’t end up demonizing Ryan as the purported cause, as they did Sarah Palin last time out.

Same ticket, different election.

I’m not buying it this time. Voting Constitution Party for the top of the ballot. Voting for the conservative down ticket.

Look on the bright side. The great two terms of Ronald Reagan were followed by a single tepid term by H.W. Bush, who, while he did some “okay” things, lived in Reagan’s shadow.

So imagine this time that a single tepid term by Romney, which will likely be much like that of his fellow New Englander, H.W., builds enough momentum to have two solid terms by Ryan.

This will likely be more liveable, as a lot of the RINOs will have been purged, so the more conservative House and Senate will be setting more of the tone, and hopefully in four years enough conservative momentum will be built up so that President Ryan can hit the ground running, with a motivated conservative Republican congress.

It's one big conjob.

"The fix is in."

===================================

I will fix them back.

The stakes are high and the world may burn but my vote is mine and mine alone to give and it will not go to someone who has a lifetime record of being my ideological enemy.

The GOP is the New Whig Party.

Dear Disgusted,

The trick is not to pinch your nose too tightly or for too long and accept congratulations for your certain ABO vote.

Thanks for making a difficult decision that will help rid our homeland of the Kenyan usurper.

Best wishes.

Paul Ryan is not a Tea Party underling. He is the future President of the United States in training. I love this ticket. It is composed of learned gentleman, blessed with extraordinary families, who have seen how government can go amuck. Having seen it,tried it, changed it, made mistakes with it, gone back to it, they can thwart any attempt to steal it from us in the future. I have no doubt in my mind that Mitt Romney loves this country as much as I do. I have no doubt in my mind that his family is so wonderful that it is a walking broadside for Mormanism just as families once were for Catholics. Now we have both in men of great faith. I have no doubt in my mind that Paul Ryan will never stray from the conservative base he has created within himself. It’s his core and no one forced it on him. Coming from several generations of career military members, the only flaw I see is I wish there was a link to uniformed service. That said, I have no doubt these two distinguished achievers will support our troops with all the respect and care in the world. We’re on our way back home and God is by our side. I always loved our presidents...probably because they weren’t in my living room 24 hours a day. There was no Candy Crowley or idiots of her ilk. I want to feel great about our government and it’s leaders. This is one step. The conservatives we have already elected have to walk the line too. That, so predictable conservative judges can be put in place. Looooong journey back. Romney-Ryan 2012 is the beginning!
