Who did you want on the ticket?
I ask that not as a jibe, but genuinely wondering.
I think Romney is a damn poor candidate. But I didn’t see anybody else out there taking the electorate by storm, either among those running or those not.
The bottom of the ticket is irrelevant except in delivering votes to help the party win election, and that doesn’t matter this election because Obama will lose due to the large ABO vote (not here from Freepers, but in the heartland where masses of people either aren’t working, are holding pink slips, are holding their wives pink slipd, have working age unemployed kids living with them, or are hanging on to their small business by a fingernail because they can’t get a small business loan beg, borrow or steal.
Obama is doomed by his handling of the economic depression. It doesn’t matter who Romney puts on the bottom of the ticket.
If you are asking what ticket I wanted besides Romney, then a Palin/Ryan ticket would have just thrilled me.
I agree. The only other candidate as bad as Romney in my lifetime was probably Bob Dole. I like Ryan a lot. Not sure he was the best choice for this spot at this time, but I doubt it matters anyway.
I can’t help but to have a suspicion that this entire campaign is nothing but a charade anyway. The fix is in by the elites running the show. We will have a 2nd term of the 0bama. God willing, his “opposition” will hold the House and expand their ranks in the Senate to keep his agenda in check.
