This appears to be the assumption of Sikhs in America, the news media and even the internet media.
The shooter was military trained in psychological warfare, I believe is a fact? Why do we think that he would confuse Sikhs with Muslims?
I certainly do not. I can tell the difference between a Sikh and a Muslim from a hundred yards in an Atlanta shopping mall. Sikhs have an elegant and kindly air about them, their beards are trimmed with a romantic style and their turbans draped artistically and distinctively. Their woman do not cringe and crouch and do not behave as if they are beaten daily.
Whatever this nut was thinking, there's no evidence yet that this is a matter of mistaken identity.
Thanks for the info.
I was clueless.
(living a sheltered life, even though I have the internet, LOL)
You want them all to answer?
I want them exposed for the manipulative charlatans and liars they are.
Go to you tube and type in “Skrewdriver”. See for yourself. They even do merchandising tie ins.
Muslims hate Jews. Neo-Nazis hate Jews. I find it odd he would go supposedly try to kill Muslims.
One report did say that one of the victims had a bloody knife in his hand and had charged the shooter.
“We” don’t.
Usually something involving love and/or sex.
It may turn out to be the case, but it is an irresponsible assumption for the media to take.
They've been promising a "muslim backlash" for more than a decade, so they can reconfirm that white Americans are racist. It's way behind schedule, but they'll announce its arrival daily, until it gets here.
The Dems/leftists/media (but I repeat myself) want to push the “He thought they were Muzzies” which is most likely not a fact. Already on the SPLC site (there was a link on a thread yesterday), leftists PiecesOS are saying that Michelle Bachmann’s hatred of Muzzies is fuelling this kind of “thing”. It’s all because of anti-Mozzie bigotry. They are drooling over this.
Have to pick nits -
The Constitution does not create or give rights; it recognizes pre-existing rights and proposes a form of government so instituted as to protect those rights.
By definition, the Constitution can be amended; if rights came from the Constitution, they would not be ‘inalienable’.
My dear, most Americans are not as educated as you are I are.
I know the difference because:
I have studied both religions.
I have had friends in both religions.
and more importantly I have watched both pray and watched their actions.
That said, if I ever fly again and have a choice of sitting next to an air Marshall or a Sikh ...Yea I’ll take the Sikh. Because the first time that muzzie gets up and shouts “Allah Akbar” the Sikh will take out his sword and turn the muzzie into sushi.
The head of the temple, age 62 or 65 IIRC, attacked him with a knife, and was killed
Weapons training, bomb building and Jihad 101?
I didn’t assume that. I thought he hated Indians.
Which one?
There was a funny incident in Australia, a few years back, where some dumb and offensive yutes decided to give a “Muslim” a beat down. So they set upon a guy in a turban, and he had to run away - yes, he was a Sikh. He outpaced the fat bullies, so they crossed the road, and vented their rage upon a group of swarthy men who had a felafel stall.
They were Israelis.
some years ago, the terrorist group the US government never talks about, called Jamaat ul Fuqra, targeted those they deemed "apostate" muslims, or those they deemed insufficiently muslim, also Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and assorted others, in a string of bomb plots and assassination plots against individuals and temples.
The Jamaat ul Fuqra was headed by a Pakistani named Jilani/Gilani [ I think it still is] and recruits blacks and others in both Caribbean and in the USA into living in little isolated enclaves which frequently have gun ranges and airstrips on them. They also operate the "International Qurannic Open University," and other similarly named fronts.
Their assassins knew very well what the differences were between Sikhs and Muslims and they weren't targeting Sikhs because they were "confused."
