From what I see they look like GOOD people:

I am friendly with a few Sikh families... great people, really good kids
They’re NOT Muslims and that’s enough for me.
The devil does protect the Muslims, doesn't he? A nut goes after turbans, and misses Muslims...
I would rather be living a neighborhood exclusively made up of sikhs vs. one with 1% ROPers.
They were formed as a response to the Moguhl invasion (ROPers) of India in the 15th century.
They carry a Kirpan which is a ceremonial dagger for self defense and they are very cool people, their wear their turbans OVER their ears.
[ I know they are honorable and courageous warriors. ]
They are essentially an entire Culture of Paladins.

Could the shooter have mistaken them for Muslims?
No group has suffered more at the hands of Muslims than the Sikhs. They work hard, handle their own problems, do not beg or call on others for help. If they have a sin its that they tend to be a bit clanish and inward looking. People need to know about there faith and its peaceful nature— The turbans they wear have caused some foolish people to think they are Islamic and nothing could be farther from the truth.
Very much so, and also staunch adversaries of Muslims (Pakistanis), largely over land disputes in the Punjab Region in Northern India.
At the original 9-11 Memorial in Houston a large group of Sikhs were there to show their support.
The only group that hates other religions are Muslims. Religion of peace only if they are the only ones left on the planet!!
We have got to start telling the truth!
My heart and prayers are with the Sikhs!!
The ones I know have been very decent, hard-working people.
They live in daily fear of being mistaken for Muslims, due to their turbans and long beards. It’s because their religion forbids the cutting of their hair. One guy I know has learned to tuck it inside a baseball cap.
So are you asking if someone who does this has any connection with rationality? Sikhs keep to themselves and I have never heard of any kind of problem with them. Here in Jacksonville, the Sikh’s and Hindu’s worship at the same temple. Ghandi springs to mind long before Muslim.
As a culture and ethnic group, Sikhs are some of the finest human beings on the face of the planet. Big, truly fierce and loyal, Sikhs have an amazing history. The U.S. would be a far different and a far better place if we had large complement of Sikh citizens.
I have worked with Sikhs.
They ARE good people.
This dumbass murderer probably didn’t know the difference between a Sikh and a muslim..............
As a rule, I'm not a big advocate of "open carry," but I could certainly see it as a legitimate expression of cultural solidarity.
It's happened before.
They’re one of the larger lesser religions of India. They’ve been persecuted by Muslims and Hindus alike. They work hard and mind their own business. Their religion doesn’t call for the domination or elimination of all other religions. There are many morons in the world who fail to be adequately discriminatory and mistake anybody wearing any sort of head cloth with anyone else that wears any sort of head cloth. If they would just discriminate at least as well as they do when selecting their brand of beer, the world would be better off.
I, too, understand they are an honorable people...
A good movie to watch that has a sikh family highlighted is “Bend It Like Beckham”...great music, too.
Only an idiot, ignoramus would target these people in their house of worship...POS shooter.
