Yeah. Let’s boycott ‘em if they don’t.
Stop giving away other people’s money. That’s a liberal idea/value.
They should keep every damn penny they earned and pay their routine taxes. That’ll be a far better contribution to American society than making them give it up.
Since when do liberal companies give up their profits to “charities”?
You a libtard or sumthin?
Where do you get this stuff.
Chick-Fil-A should spend their money however they please
The Cathy family has a foundation that runs half a dozen different organizations . I don’t remember them all, but they include a foster child program, and a camp program and, I think, some kind of educational program.
They should do whatever they please with it. It’s theirs.
Give it away to charity? I say BS to that! They earned it fair and square and they should keep it.
From what I’ve seen today, while their sales may be very high, the profit margin may not be as high. They had to bring in extra staff, are going through a lot more inventory, and at least in the one close to my office, were renting tents and such to help workers outside keep the line moving. They were also giving away drinks to people waiting in line- eating into the profit.
I think you should donate all your income to me.
I think your sentiments are well-intentioned. But I must agree with the others — CFA is a business, and the point of a business is to make a profit. If a bunch of politically-correct queers want to help CFA make a profit, I say let ‘em.
It’s better if they keep the profits, that would really piss the left off.
Negative.
But let’s have a re-run of this. :D
(every month maybe)
hey fellow freepers....you’re missing the point of the thread.
if the kiss in crowd that is planning on showing up on friday knows the procedes from friday sales will go to chick-fil-a’s favorite family charity maybe they won’t go there!
i’m very pro-chick-fil-a and i agree they can do whatever they want with their money. think we have a misunderstanding here.
my apologies for the confusion.
What are you talking about? They have a business, they pay taxes, in essence giving back to the community. They have payroll to make. Let them do what THEY want with their profits. None of any ones damn business how their profits are spent. And, I’m a business owner.
Gee! You’ve gone silent. What did you do, donate your keyboard to a charity?
I’m a St. Jude fan. Danny Thomas left behind a wonderful legacy.
Absolutely not. They should reward their stockholders with a big “See what you get when you don’t let the liberal whackos win?” dividend check.
