WHITE HOUSE INITIATIVE ON EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, to restore the country to its role as the global leader in education, to strengthen the Nation by improving educational outcomes for African Americans of all ages, and to help ensure that all African Americans receive an education that properly prepares them for college, productive careers, and satisfying lives, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Policy. Over the course of America's history, African American men and women have strengthened our Nation, including by leading reforms, overcoming obstacles, and breaking down barriers. In the less than 60 years since the Brown v. Board of Education decision put America on a path toward equal educational opportunity, America's educational system has undergone a remarkable transformation, and many African American children who attended the substandard segregated schools of the 1950s have grown up to see their children attend integrated elementary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
However, substantial obstacles to equal educational opportunity still remain in America's educational system. African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes, and they disproportionately experience school discipline and referrals to special education. African American student achievement not only lags behind that of their domestic peers by an average of two grade levels, but also behind students in almost every other developed nation. Over a third of African American students do not graduate from high school on time with a regular high school diploma, and only four percent of African American high school

How can you pass an executive order using race as the main criteria?
This is Special Ed for black kids that must not be as smart as Mexicans, Asians, Europens, etc.
This does not sound politically correct. If a white guy had written this it would be racist. Obama is appears to be blaming blacks for the substandard education of the black community.
Somebody should have proof read that. Apparently this new department within the department of education is going to "...efforts to improve the recruitment, preparation, development, and retention of successful African American teachers..." because that will make black kids smarter (and help teacher unions).
Soooo, he going to lower the test grades again? Dumb em down even more?
Maybe make quotas for negros grades?
This executive order only creates another subgroup to the Department of Education. It specializes in the advancement of only black students. It uses resources and funding from every major department of the government and actually offers NO SPECIFIC DIRECTION on what the agency is to do.
Obama needed to create more jobs for some folks he owes favors to. He gets to appoint and pay for 25 brand new high paying executive positions. I wonder who he’ll appoint? Who did he promise a job to?
This EXECUTIVE ORDER to expand government will not make any children “more smarter.” Why would the DOJ, DOD and Labor Department need to contribute resources to it as it is stated if it is for education?
What a farce.
so non fired black teachers get a $$$bonus for being black,,,, I love it! Racism at it's best, MSM,,,, chirp, chirp, cricket sounds..........
No Crackers need apply . . . in so many words, Whites are worthless . . . thanks Bammy! . . . talk about a disgustingly racist view of so-called "Black" Americans who are no more black than I am white. What a fool!
You posted my thoughts exactly!
Also if the obstacles that are supposedly keeping them down are removed then the black american will be removed from the schools. Because they are their own problem!

racist bas-tard. FUBO
How is he going to end African-American attitudes toward education as being the same as "actin' white?"
Take a look at "Obama's son" Trayvon Martin's record of scholastic achievement and dedication to educational excellence to see how this EO is going to make a difference.
Isn’t what Obama is directing in this EO called SCHOOL CHOICE?, So what is the stance of the teacher unions that overwhelmingly supported Obama in 2008?
How does this all fit in with “Critical Race Theory”? We’ll have to run this one by Soledad O’Brian. I’m having trouble keeping up on all these leftist ideas.

A large percentage of inner city black youths believe that studying and doing well in school is “acting white” and reject “ejukation”. If they don’t make it in basketball or rap or slinging drugs.....they blame whitey and live on govt. cheeze......it is what it is.
Pure black on white racism.
LLS
