Olympia, Wash. (AP) --The voter registration form arrived in the mail last month with some key information already filled in: Rosie Charlstons name was complete, as was her Seattle address. Problem is, Rosie was a black lab who died in 1998. A group called the Voter Participation Center has touted the distribution of some 5 million registration forms in recent weeks, targeting Democratic-leaning voting blocs such as unmarried women, blacks, Latinos and young adults. But residents and election administrators around the country also have reported a series of bizarre and questionable mailings addressed to animals, dead people, non-citizens and
DB: Now this is something we can get our teeth into.
Jacey: Move your paw. I read faster than you. Dakota: Pets can vote? Since when?
Jacey: Aw, nuts! Apparently its just Democrat pets that get to vote.
DB: I thought Democrats were all about being fair. Dakota: Move your paw, DB.
Jer: What are you chewing, Jacey?
Jacey: Sorry, I got excited. I think it was a liberal opinion piece on Bernanke.
Jer: Spit it out. Reading the article on pets voting, are we? Dont get your hopes up. Youre all legal, Republican, and alive.
Dakota: This talks about dead pets, dead people, too. Its like, zombie Democrats.
DB: Heh, heh. Next zombie movie should have zombies carrying suitcases full of votes. Like, you know, why would zombies need a suitcase? They could be standing in line at a polling place, like in Minnesota, and
Jacey: Even a dead Democrat dog should know better than to vote for a dog-eater.
Dakota: Is the voting age in dog years or people years? Later that night.
Dakota: Jer, am I smart enough to vote?
Jer: Tell me, where does dog food come from?
Dakota: A capitalist economic system, right?
Jer: Wheres the capital of South Dakota?
Dakota: Is that with an a or an o?
Jer: Ill sign you up tomorrow.
Liberal Non-Profit Group Sending Out Pre-Filled Voter Registration Cards To Dogs, Dead People, Non-Citizens
Republican Doggie Ping...
Vote republican while you are alive, because you will vote Dem when dead!
Seriously, when family members die, PLEASE make sure a death cert gets to the voter clerk and their name gets removed.
Interesting.
This could spark a heated debate on which (dogs or cats) are more likely to vote for Republicans.
This question is for Dakota: “As a dog named after parts of two States, you might be able to find out why Obama stole the “Forward” from the Great Seal of the State of Wisconsin for his campaign theme of “Commune Amerika?”
Did Obama “Badger” the Keeper of the Seal?
You are among FRiends, Dakota, so it is OK to let the cat out of the bag.
I’ll speak for the Golden Retrievers. Golden Retrievers are DEFINITELY Republican. They are always kind and dependable.
Yes, Max Duncan has been pondering that. In his Golden brain, he thinks your suspicions are correct. The theft had a lot to do with Badgering.
My German Shorthaired Pointers are solidly locked up Conservatives. Friendly by nature and very bidable, their hackles and a front paw always raise when a liberal is in the neiborhood. When socialists get near they uncharacteristly go into full guard dog mode, and refuse to point. They only want to drive them away.
They tolerate cats, (and RINOs) but have been known to corner them, lock in point over them, and drool all over their fur/coat.
All bets are off if chicken jerky is anywhere within a 100’. Then they’re like a junky seeking their daily Jones.
They may even wag their tails for one of those mythical conservative (for a) Democrat people. Don’t know for sure, because I’ve never seen one!
What a great looking crew! I think it’s safe to say that the majority of Eskies are conservatives- at least enough so that the ones that aren’t don’t self-identify.
My pack is still With Newt. (I haven’t had the heart to tell them yet. After Tampa.)
What a gorgeous dog! I’d let him vote at my poll. I’d never say “no” to that magnificent creature.
Unreal, isn't it? Mickey may be a cartoon but we know where the real LOONIES are!!
