Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope have discovered the oldest known spiral galaxy, a 10.7-billion-year-old anomaly that by all rights shouldn't exist. The galaxy was present in the early universe, about 3 billion years after the Big Bang, at a time when galaxies were still forming and normally looked clumpy and irregular.
In fact, it is a so-called grand design spiral galaxy, which has prominent, well-formed spiral arms. "The fact that this galaxy exists is astounding," Law said. "Current wisdom holds that such grand design spiral galaxies didn't exist at such an early time in the history of the universe."

It existed Then but I wonder if it exists Now?
Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
What if the universe consists of overlapping “mini-universes”?
Wait 10.7 billion years to find out.
Bet there’s people living there! I would love to talk to them
Didn’t have a zoning clearance?
They will have to get back to me on that...
Big Bang is bull ,we only know a small bit about earth ,and nothing beyond , see a picture and make up a story
That is, assuming that the standard model is correct. At one time "current wisdom" held held that everything in the sky revolves around the earth.
“Current wisdom....”
Current SPECULATION...
Fixed.
Hey, y’know that universe you got there? you didn’t build that.
They'd love to talk to you too.
Guess we don’t know everything . . . yet.
I once heard an analogy of how absurd the “Big Bang” theory is.
It would compare to blowing up a huge warehouse of metal, bolts, plastic, oil, equipment, cloth...etc etc and having all the pieces fall together creating a fully functioning Boeing 747.
“That is, assuming that the standard model is correct.”
‘Zackly! Even their basic premise that the universe is 14B years old could be off by a factor of 10...or 1000.
The Rosie Ruiz galaxy — it took the bus to get ahead of all the other galaxies.
Some adolescents develop large forearms and biceps early on, same for galaxies...
