A North Texas science teacher is accused of having a sex with a student at various hotels near her home, police say.
Rachelle Nicole Heenan has been accused of having a relationship with an 18-year-old male student, police say.
Science teacher Rachelle Nicole Heenan, a married mother of two, was arrested at her home in Haslet on July 5 after being accused of the inappropriate relationship, NBCDFW.com reported.

I agree. You cannot simply rely on her mugshot. A determination of guilt or innocence requires more photos, preferably some full body shots.

In Arkansas, the State Supreme Court recently ruled that as long as the student is 18, then there can be no legal consequences for the teacher. Of course, they can still be fired, but you can’t lock them up in jail.

If the “victim” was 18 then I can see her being summarily fired, but arrested? On what charge? Contributing to the delinquency of an adult? I’d read the whole article but I studiously avoid giving MSNBC’s website any hits. Maybe the “relationship” started years ago.
