Happy Independence Day, Boots, and everyone.
I still get choked up on this day. It isn’t easy to do that, for me...
But this day, THIS day of all days, marks a turning point in world history.
On this day, a small group of revolutionaries turned their faces towards the “powers-that-be” and raised a “collective” (ahem, cough) middle finger, letting the entire, rotten European monarchic establishment know that from that day forward, normal people were declaring their independence from them - to whit, WE DON’T NEED THEM, nor do we WANT them, in our business, in our lives, in our faces.
Eight long, bloody years followed as the gathered forces of the mightiest Empire on the face of the Earth sought to impose their will by force of arms and with all the coercive power of a corrupt State.
They sought to crush us.
They sought to put us back under the boot.
But we prevailed. We killed their spirit, we killed their will to coerce us, and we killed their flunkies and mercenaries and every other damned Jackboot that set his foot on our soil.
We prevailed, because at the end of the day, we are born free, and given this gift by God, and this is something that NO Government, No King, No Governor, No State, No Collective, can EVER TAKE away.
A Free Man, fighting for his liberty, is ultimately unbeatable. We may be temporarily set back, but ultimately, we WILL win.
Freedom, liberty...these are MINDSETS. The other side will try to do everything in their “power” to remove that mindset from us. They always have. They use every means in their considerable arsenal to unnerve, unman, and break our will.
But there is always a choice.
The choice is to either resist, by any and all means available, or to surrender and obey.
People will argue that you must obey, you must give in, they will kill you etc., etc., - but it is STILL a choice.
You either bow down to them, or you don’t.
We’re at another crossroads in our history right now, indeed, a crossroads in the history of the world - because if WE go out, the rest of the world doesn’t have a prayer.
Why?
Because they’ve already made their choice, and “obeyed”.
We’re Americans. We ARE exceptional in the world. We’ve done what NO ON else on the planet has ever been able to accomplish. We made a place where people run TO to get away from those who “obey”.
I hear people say America has lost her way; we’re finished, game over, it’s done, blah blah blah...
I say...
Thank GOD I’m an American, and I don’t have to share a fighting hole with those whining, pathetic LOSERS.
Yes, I’m an American. I thank God every day that I was born here, to parents that loved me and raised me an American, from a long line of other Americans who didn’t - and wouldn’t “obey”.
We aren’t done. We’re a young land. And every generation gets it’s chance to stand up and show that they either BELIEVE what they say they believe in, or they don’t.
It’s a choice.
We either obey...or we don’t.
For the record, real Americans DON’T “obey”. It’s WHY we ARE exceptional.
Happy Independence Day, and by the grace of God, we will remain the land of the Free because of the Brave.
