Drudge seems to want to make this about Roberts. Roberts should say it like it is: congress passed the law, not me. Be mad at congress, not the court.

No, this is about the court and the constitution. The court is the final defense of the constitution. Today they shredded it beyond all belief.

Roberts has it coming!

His distinction that the individual mandate is "fairly contrued" as a tax rather than an Unconstitutional extension of the Commerce Clause requiring a behavior is no distinction to the person fined or penalized. This kind of "taxing" is just starting.

Uh, no. He could have voted it unconstitutional, as it is just that. Roberts is a loser and should get every ounce of blame. He deserves it.

“Roberts should say it like it is: congress passed the law, not me. Be mad at congress, not the court.”

Be mad at both. I expected nothing from the leftists on the Court. But Roberts just validated a doctrine that is the most sweeping expansion of Federal power in history. Congress used to have to tie regulation of individual behavior to the interstate commerce clause. So, for example, guns had to cross state lines for the feds to regulate behavior with guns. By calling something a tax, the feds can now regulate any behavior or non-behavior, interstate or not. Any action or any inaction.

So, for example, a few years back, Congress passed a law making it illegal to have a gun within 1,000 feet of a school. Supreme court ruled it unconstitutional under the commerce clause. After Robert’s abomination today, Congress may pass a tax of $1,000,000 each time you come within 1,000 feet of a school with a gun. Then when you don’t pay, the IRS puts you in jail for refusal to pay the tax. Same result as if the Supreme Court had just gutted the Commerce Clause directly in school gun case.

The only remaining limits on Congress power are (1) Portions of the bill of rights (1st, 2nd, self-incrimination) and (2) limits that are not in the Constitution but invented by previous supreme court. For example, Congress can’t do anything about abortion or sodomy after Roe and Lawrence.

We had been very close to having the entire infrastructure in place for a totalitarian state. Mr. Justice Roberts just completed the infrastructure. Congress only passed one very bad law, Obamacare. Robert’s just permitted any bad law Congress wants to pass. Robert’s act is far more reprehensible.

So yes. Be angry at Roberts. Be very, very angry.

Roberts did not have to agree that the mandate was a TAX. Contrarily, Obama and the Democrats INSISTED it was not a tax. He merely had to state that it did not pass muster under the Commerce Clause and let it stand there, he did not have to side with the crew of idiots that transmutated the mandate part into a tax and therefore keep the mandate in tact. A traitor in my opinion who does not understand what it means to be a free American.

We SHOULD be mad at Congress, AND those idiots that elect the wrong people. Congress and those that occupy the White House need to be cleaned out in short order.
