Yep, it’s almost a miracle. The cataracts sneak in so you don’t know how much you’re missing.

My eyesight was always poor, and continued to get worse as I aged. I had cataract surgery about five years ago, before all the new-fangled lens were approved, so I still need glasses for reading and up-close work. It’s comforting, though, to know I could see if something happened and I lost my glasses! Congratulations to you!
I know doctors say if we live long enough, we end up with Cataracts. I am not quite ready to have one removed from my right eye. It is very small and seems to be stationary for the time being and not in my vision field. Guess sooner or later it will. I am 71 and my parents both had cataract surgery when they were in their 70’s.
It is wonderful that the surgery is so very safe and easy now. I remember the old days when one had to be in the hospital for days with sandbags holding one’s head from moving!!! Then they had to wear big thick glasses to see!
