When Tim Morris got his mail last week he found a pretty big surprise, a document asking his dog Mozart to register to vote.
Not only is Mozart a dog but he's been dead for two years.
"I opened it up and looked at it and I just laughed," Morris said. "I thought it was a joke at first and it turns out it's real."
The form is addressed to Mo, the family's nickname for the dog.
What amazed Morris is that if Mozart was human he would have been eligible to vote for the first time in 2012.
"He would have been 19 years old this year and he passed away two years ago," he said. "I still have no earthly idea how they got his information."

Virginia better do something about their rolls apprently. What is wrong with all these Red states...Florida having the same issues.
Voter registration in this country has become a joke. Elections are a joke too.
This happens about once every other year here in Pittsburgh. A voter registration card gets mailed out to a dog or a six year old, and it ends up on the six o’clock news. Everyone has a good laugh and the Elections Director swears he will get to the bottom of this. But nothing ever comes of it.
If the lazy GOP doesn’t realize that this will be the most fraudulent Democrat election in our history, they’ll be moaning the day after it’s all over and The First Dictator will be able to “transform America” into a Socialist country for another four years.
But was he shot by an LEO?
If he was shot, it was probably by a Scorpio....they tend to be mean.
When I was in college, one of the candidates for student council president turned out to be a hampster. I don’t recall how many votes “Speedy” got.
Obviously someone sent his name in at one time or another.
But... voter fraud is non-existent. Move along.
Anybody who doesn’t see that America’s enemies have figured this out is just plain foolish....the home-grown socialists are too stupid to successfully perpetrate all this by themselves.
A post from the grave?
Was Morris a white dog, or a dog of color?
We have to know this in order to know whether Morris is being disenfranchised.
Ack! I meant Mozart, not Morris.
Then on election day, when the dog doesn't show up to vote - another thug - oops, I mean another 'public spirited' Dem - will vote for him.
Fido got the registration packet from a liberal group, the Voter Registration Center.

Ironically, if you go to their website, they have a humor piece making fun of conservatives who make “false claims” about them trying to register pets to vote.
