Do you believe "progressive" is code language for "communist"?
A lot of people here do. "Yes, I agree with that question". Some don't. "No, a progressive is not a communist".
So then what say you about Mitt Romney, who has openly stated the very thing.(and his record shows the truth of his claim)
People who think there’s no difference between 0bama and Romney really ought to have their heads examined. Yeah, I wish we could clone Ronald Reagan every 8 years, and I wish we had a more conservative nominee.
However, the current primary system has given us Romney. You don’t have to like it, but let’s take a look at what’s at stake. This country is not going to survive four more years of 0bama. Dictatorial tricks like this back-door amnesty crap he pulled yesterday will only lead to more executive decisions and recess appointments.
We have to get the vote out, not just for Romney, but for conservatives running for the Senate and the House. Electing conservatives to Congress is essential to either keep Romney on the right side of the issues, or, God forbid in case of a 2nd 0bama term, limit the damage as much as possible. For that, we need the Senate and maintain majority in the House.
Up next is the Primary process itself. We can all whine and moan about how the media elected our nominee and blah blah blah. I’m yet to hear about people taking action and re-taking control of the GOP. If it’s one thing I’ve learned from 0bama is that if you want to change things, you can’t just hope for it. You have to take action.
There’s not a thing in Romney’s record worth defending. He really literally is Obama white.

How about two for the road. He isn’t a champion of Jeremiah Wright, and he is a true blue American. His birthplace isn’t in doubt either just for one more.

While your post is probably the most in touch with reality, I am stopping at your post and will read no further. Sadly, We The People failed to do our sovereignty duties in the venue most in need of our oversight, the Republican Party. So we get scammed by the globalists selections placed at the forefront of that party by mouthing our values but when elected they do the values and work the strategy of the globalist behind the curtains. This election my only real question is can we forestall the final collapse little barry bastard commie was installed to accomplish and buy the time to change the republican party back toward a conservative profile. This election is sure not going to be one where turnout is driven by folks wanting to vote for a candidate at the top, so it will be an excellent reflection of whether the sovereinbgs of this dying Republic are interested in saving it by turning out in record numbers to install down ticket conservatives to turn the republican party around. If We The People do not turnout to change the party leadership then all that will be left is lock and load. Too many appear to want to jump ahead to the final stage without making one last effort. It is looking more and more like the globalist do not want Milt Rominy to become president because it just may be that he is not one of theirs. We shall see

When the conservative vote is split, the general rule of thumb is that the liberal wins.
Romney generally stayed in the 20s until inevitability set in. With all the candidate spikes, conservatives were clear that they wanted someone other than Romney.

The problem is that his words apply equally to progressive-Romney.
That’s the disconnect. Everybody(including myself) can say how bad Obama is.
Nobody is capable of building that bridge to Romney. Because then everything said about Obama then becomes hypocritical, and it inevitably becomes a pissing match about who’s progressive is better.
