We cannot say for sure that the fatalities were due to the venom; it could have been because of allergic reaction to the venom, which triggered cardiac arrest in both the victims.Typical politician speak, blame the victim.

Speaking of tarantulas’....has anyone traveled on I-40 going west between the Nevada/Californina line and Barstow at N_I_G_H_T ? There are thousands of them crawling along the sides of the highway and smashed on the pavement. I used to think if I had a flat tire, I’d run on a rim to Barstow.
