They don't make 'em like they used to -- at least according to the guy who played James Bond in 1969, who's pissed the new Bond film has axed 007's signature martini ... in favor of a corporate-sponsored beer.

That would probably be “Ten Minus Zero” by Raymond Benson.

It’d be one thing if he was just having a beer in a scene. But replacing the martini altogether? Lame.

Not only that Heineken taste like crap, has a skunk like after taste IMO.It didn't used to, Colt 45 had that down, though, even the aroma--but it's been over 20 years since I drank, and things change.

Eh, in the late 80s they replaced Bond's signature car since the Connery era, an Aston Martin, with a BMW because of the corporate sponsors at the time. Bond fans predictably went nuts (I believe they returned to Astro Marins during the Pierce Brosnan era)
I'm more upset this guy is still portraying "James Bond" (and a bunch of fanboys on the internet claim casting a guy who looks and sounds nothing like Bond is somehow "closer to the books"):

A lot of people really like him as you can see from this thread. I wonder how many are women who just think he’s attractive? ;D
I’m not keen on him either, though not to the extent as you and DJ.
I just don’t feel like I’m watching James Bond.
If you want a “dark” Bond that still has the Bond charm see Dalton (my favorite after young Connery).
