It's no secret famed Rat Packer Dean Martin is still about as cool as it gets, so it only makes sense he would choose a vehicle as cool and unique as a 1962 Ghia L6.4 as a mode of transportation.
After getting his hands on the car, Martin decided his Ghiaone of 26 L6.4s builtstill needed a little bit more unique personality and enlisted famed custom car builder George Barris to add a few subtle touches. Whether you love the styling of the Ghia or hate it, it's impossible to dispute it's one of a kind nature.
Under the hood of the Ghia is a 335hp Chrysler 383ci V-8 which like the rest of the car is original from when Martin owned it. You read it right, this Ghia has a pampered existence to thank for the fact it is a completely original carbeyond the Barris custom treatment of course.
Martin's Ghia is currently being offered for sale by Hyman Cars LTDa classic car dealer well known for their unique and rare inventoryat the price of $199,500. While it certainly isn't cheap, it's rather hard to put a price on feeling like a member of the Rat Pack every time you get behind the wheel.
If I had the money, I’d write the check
Che bella.
I had one Hyman car in my life I think.

Amazing!
You just posted a pic of a car I do not know about! I did not think there was an american car I did not know about. It looks like a cross between a chrysler avante and the original plymouth barracuda...maybe a little bit of studebaker loewey coupe.
I am shocked. And I like that car!
I love that show!
Jackie Gleason’s limo was offered in a recent episode.
1962 GHIA COUPE
Dean Martin Ghia: but this is more than just a beautiful car. Originally owned by Hollywood star Lucille Ball and husband Gary Morton, it was then bought by legendary Rat Pack member Dean Martin and customised to his personal requirements by George Barris. Rare, beautifully preserved and with that celebrity connection its a true Hollywood car.
STUTZ BEARCAT
Dean owned three Stutz Bearcats, one was crashed

Bob Siler grew up in Burbank, not far from Universal Studios and Warner Brothers where they made his favorite monster movies. A long-time fan of Westerns, he still has a hard time believing that the great John Wayne could die. Bob has created many lists detailing where the famous and infamous lived, are buried, and the cars they drove. He has recently completed this list of Western Stars homes after many years. Burbank Bob now resides in Portland, Oregon.
A thing of beauty, but imagine getting parts for it if you actually drove it.......My greatest fear of getting a classic anything.
Me, too. I get a kick out of it.
So clean that the ash-tray has never been used.... oh wait...
I knew I could stump you eventually.
