Ross Perot definitely got Clinton elected. Don’t even try to deny it ... won’t work.
Now, it’s possible that If George H.W. had been more popular H Ross Perot might not have taken so many votes.
George H.W. was and is a good man. Too liberal for many of us and made a huge mistake in raising taxes after he promised not to.
After 3 terms of Republicans, people get restless. H. Ross Perot had (and has) a huge hate for the Bushes. He ran mainly to get revenge on them and he got it.
He would have been a horrible president but he did succeed in giving us Clinton.
Had he not run, most of his voters would have voted for Bush or against Clinton, however you want to see it.
