OK - you want something to scare you to death, put things into perspective?
BOBBY VEE? Everything about him SCREAMS teenager.
Anyone can get alzheimers at almost any age. Sorry to hear that both he and his wife are dealing with catastrophic health issues. God bless them both and their families.
Prayers for him.
Darn...I am so old I had to go to the site to remember the “Rubber Ball” and get him back in my mind.
I am sorry to hear they are each having such serious health issues.
I enjoyed the music from the advance release on the site.
It seemed sad, though.
Apr.30 is his birthday.
A local station played a top ten countdown of his most popular hits according to Billboard.

Worth a click if you’re a fan.
Cool. Thanks, kanawa.
Take Good Care of My Baby and The Night Has 1000 Eyes evoke warm nostalgia.
Prayers for Mr. Vee
Thanks kanawa.
I also like “Run to Him” and “Love you More Than I can say”.
Have an old 33 1/3 record album with his first released recording, as a 14 yr old, as the “replacement” for Buddy Holly, of something called “Susie Baby”.
Susie baby
Where are you?
Have you left me
For someone new?
Is your love light
Burning bright?
Will you love me
Or leave me tonight?
Susie baby
Don’t you know?
That I miss you
And love you so
Then it cuts to instrumental, and I swear that’s some of the prettiest, most plaintiff, guitar sounds EVER.
Sorry to hear this. He’s a good singer.
