Just seeing if I'll get the zot. I can't stand mittens but I hate bamby worse. I'm a automatic withdrawal monthly donor (full disclosure - only 5 bucks because that's all I can afford).
Bamby has to go. If mittens is elected and does what we all expect he'll do (lie), it'll only strengthen us. We'll get rid of him too.

If your thread stays, it will help people donate to FR. Some aren’t donating because they are afraid they can’t say that they will vote for the Republican nominee to stop Obama from winning.
It is important to realize that it takes years to develop a new political party. We need to start now for 2016. The Republicans will always take conservatives for granted. We need to become a bloc that will threaten their existence, a powerful 3rd party that will force them to run on their real platform, statism and slightly right of center until pushed a little.
Meanwhile, we need to triage and stop the bleeding and vote against Obama if we can. Those of us who cannot vote for someone like Romney just won’t but the rest of us probably should because Romney is at least American and not a stealth enemy. He’s a liberal Democrat wearing the R veil, but he is not a commie enemy.

No way I will do anything to help 0Bama get a 2nd term. If that means voting for Romney, I have very little choice. Still hoping some unforeseen event happens before or at convention and we get a better candidate to go against the Kenyan Socialist.
I think your guy is Dennis Kucinich. He also has an irrational view of venture capitalists and their role in a vibrant economy. To each his own.
In my view it’s not wasted.

Folks, sorry to disappoint you, but a majority of your fellow citizens voted for Romney. I wish it had been one of the others, but it wasn't. Romney will be our GOP candidate. This being the case, it is shameful to watch you attack our presumptive candidate when you've seen the damage that Obama has already inflicted on our nation.
There is NO virtue in: 1) sitting this one out, 2) voting third party, or 3) doing a write-in. Not only are these actions stupid, they will aid Obama in his bid to secure a second term, ensuring the destruction of our nation. These are the actions of spoiled, selfish brats who didn't get their way. If Obama wins reelection, those of you who engage in one of the above antics will be partly responsible. So spare us your self righteous indignation...it really is pathetic to watch. What makes this spectical even more nauseating is the fact that many FReepers were joining the likes of Politico and other left-leaning rags in trashing our early candidates like Bachmann and Cain. "Yep, they just aren't ready for prime time!" Hmmm, I guess Perry, Bachmann, or Cain look pretty good now...don't they?
