Pine trees in the South do this every spring. Some years are very bad and clouds of pollen look like smoke from fires - every thing is coated with yellow-green pollen. I think last year or the year before was really bad. Driving down the highway you could actually see the pollen exploding from the trees.

Caught some of that in Michigan’s upper peninsula a few years back. Pollen coated everything and my girlfriend was sick and angry the whole time.

I'm in Texas, and have seen that green pollen dusting in some years, but I've never seen it cloud the sky. Moscow must have one helluva pine forest surrounding it.

I was looking out my home office window last spring, and I thought the neighbor’s heat pump was on fire. It turned out to be birds in the cedar bush next to it stirring up clouds of pollen.

Yep - no matter the color of your car, they're all yellow for some time - this year has started early and hard with normal "non-allergic" folks downing Zyrtec and other "remedies".
