WASHINGTON, April 5 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama believes women should be allowed to join the all-male Augusta National Golf Club, the White House said on Thursday, adding pressure on the exclusive 80-year-old organization to drop its restrictive policy.
"His personal opinion is that women should be admitted," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters, saying he had spoken to Obama about the issue, as the prestigious Masters tournament got under way in Augusta, Georgia.
In a rare moment of agreement with Obama, Republican front-runner Mitt Romney, the Democratic president's likely opponent in the Nov. 6 election, said if it were up to him, "of course I'd have women in Augusta."...........
.....Obama's re-election campaign has made no secret of its efforts to court women voters, and his fellow Democrats have sought to depict the Republicans' focus on contraception and abortion as an attack on women's rights.
At a campaign stop in Pennsylvania, Romney took care not to give the Democrats any more ammunition.
"I'm not a member of Augusta. I don't know if I would qualify - my golf game is not that good - but certainly if I were a member and if I could run Augusta, which isn't likely to happen, but of course I'd have women in Augusta. Sure," he said.".....

This is the kind if campaign crap that makes me sick. 0bama, in his ever feeble attempt to lure women to his side, makes this kind of statement..and our side takes the bait every time. WE HAVE REAL ISSUES for the campaign trail, I could give a rats’ a$$ about golf clubs. Distract, distract, distract...and the media is more than happy to run the agenda.

What an incredible Cinderella story, this unknown comes outta no where to lead the pack, at Augusta. He's on his final hole, he's about 455 yards away - he's gonna hit about a two-iron I think. Oh he got all of that one! The crowd is standing on its feet here, the normally reserved Augusta crowd - going wild - for this young Cinderella, he's come outta no where, he's got about 350 yards left, he's gonna hit about a five-iron, don't you think? He's got a beautiful backswing - that's - Oh he got all of that one! He's gotta be pleased with that, the crowd is just on its feet here, uh - He's the Cinderella boy, uh - tears in his eyes I guess as he lines up this last shot, he's got about 195 yards left, he's got about a - its looks like he's got about an eight-iron. This crowd has gone deathly silent, the Cinderella story, outta no where, a former greenskeeper now - about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac - It's in the Hole!

Well Mitt’s slime machine will equal Obama’s we have seen that here in FL and the rest of the primary season. Can he share a positive vision that will excite folks? He is not conservative and is incapable thus far of connecting with folks.

I agree with Mark R.Levin on his AM radio program he gave solid advice. these candidates ought be thinking smart— and ought not get distracted by Obama. They ought turn it on him and ask him how many women he goes golfing with?
The US Army trained us to be cautious about following blood trails. Often they lead to ambush. And MAOBAMA is well skilled at beguiling others and setting false trails to distract.

In a rare moment of agreement with Obama, Republican front-runner Mitt Romney,...LOL... Please tell me this is a joke. LOL... They're just different sides of the same coin. Romney's skin is white while baracks is black. Their liberal records are identical. They will both say and do anything to convince people that their Marxist pasts are conservative.

Another false flag to distract from the putsch .. prolly hoping they can ignite this into another week’s worth of distraction, now that Trayvon’s a vetted (and dead) SOB.

Well I know what I'm going to do in November, the same thing our esteemed Founder is going to do.
The GOP is nothing but the somewhat center leaning wing of the Unified Repugna'Rat Party.
SCREW 'EM ALL, the only REAL political change that's going to happen is when the illegal regime overreaches as all tyrannies do, and We The People rise up and show those goons, thugs and thieves exactly where all those guns and ammo have been hidden all these years.
Lawfully, and by the Constitution of course. :)

Only two sets of tees at Augusta. Member’s tees and the Championship tees. BTW women are allowed to play as guests, unlike some others. Pine Valley, near Philadelphia, does not allow females on the property.
