I can’t turn on the TV without seeing his arrogant mug.

I can’t even watch Biggest Loser tonight! They’re going to the White House to work out with Michelle. I’ll PASS on that, thank you.

Man, how many time is he going to force himself on us. Last night, he ruined what was an otherwise drab NCAA Championship game. Now, he’s going to ruin an otherwise wonderful movie. What’s next, is he going to wave the green flag at the Indy 500? Sheeesh, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

You would be surprised how many people think it is a true story.

My favorite movie of all time. My favorite book of all time. And this bastard is going to ruin it for me.

Mary Badham and Philip Alford (Scout and Jem) are still alive - there’s no reason in the world why they shouldn’t introduce this film. I’m sick of seeing that piece of sanctimonious crap all over the place - the whole NCAA final turned into a re-elect ME! commercial.

USA Network isn’t in my “Favorites” list. Oh well, I wasn’t going to watch it anyway. I was planning on digging out the DVD of Hitchcock’s, “The Birds” tonight. Guess I’ll go with Plan A.

Harper Lee says: “I believe it remains the best translation of a book to film ever made and I'm proud to know that Gregory Peck's portrayal of Atticus Finch lives on — in a world that needs him now more than ever.”

Yeah, Harper, you're right - the world does indeed need Atticus Finch now more than ever.

But what does that have to do with Obama?

You know, the guy who just used his presidential position to incite murder against a man who never had a trial?

Like, for example, the type of person YOU WROTE Atticus Finch being AGAINST?

Like, the POINT of "To Kill a Mockingbird"?

:: crickets ::

ENOUGH about race already! Yes, this movie included! I know a lot of people think this story is a classic and it might well be, but I am sick to death of everything portraying blacks as the victim and whites as the evil victimIZER, especially if they’re Southern. This just does not come at a particularly good time.

Notice how Obama is forcing himself into everything that has to do with race, including this movie. He’s doing his best to divide the country and stir up his base so they’ll come out for him in November. Look for him to continue to gin them up.

Obamugabe, introducing the movie: “You know, if I had parents, they’d look just like Mayella and Tom.”

If I want to watch To Kill a Mockingbird I’ll just put in the DVD copy I have. Then I don’t have to watch the punk assed purple lipped mac daddy force himself into my living room.

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a great story. Timeless. It stands on its own.

To use this man to introduce it only cheapens it -- like serving Thunderbird before Beef Wellington.

I'm appalled.

I’ve always enjoyed that movie.

His face right before it, in fact just reading about him doing that, taints it for me forever.
