I have no problem with this as long as:
1. Full orchestral with no over tracking. 2. No attempt to be a crossover pop hit. 3. The song ties into the movie theme. 4. It is written by a professional songwriter such as Don Black.

You forgot a big bowl of M&M’s in the dressing room with all the green ones removed.
Anything else?

I don't mind this broads music out of what is on the radio now. She is one of the few who isn't Autotuned to death. She seems to be actually able to sing and her songs are usually up tempo. I think she would be a good Bond Theme singer. She is reminiscent of Shirley Bassey.
Bassey had some of the best Bond themes, except for Duran Duran. View to a Kill was a good song.

I was hoping Amy Winehouse would keep it together long enough to belt out a Bond theme but, alas ...
Adele will be spectacular, though, I’m certain.

5. It is better than the theme from “Quantum of Solace.”
(Granted, a chicken playing a lip harp would have been better than the theme from “Quantum of Solace.”)
I’ve really been itching for a trailer for “Skyfall”...they’re keeping us waiting with that one.

Adele is one of the few singers for whom the reality is equal to the hype. She could sing “Mares Eat Oats” and I would listen to it.

I don't know much from the current crop of singers but I heard Adele for the first time in February while on vacation. As soon as I got home I went on Amazon and ordered all her albums. I really like her voice.

From what I understood, she was supposed to do the next one.
But Adele would be amazing. That is a voice made for a bond theme.

Ditto that Chode! That song as well as the credits to the film got me back into Bond. Craig rocks!

Yea, but have you heard her speak? That COCKNEY accent is very distracting. The first time I heard her sing, was on a radio station and I thought she was black.
What a surprised to see her and find out she is white & British.
