Just took a peek outside and guess what? My crazy libtard cross street neighbor took you up on your invite; her house is lit like a Christmas tree. Is this the day that Rush sends his plane coast to coast for no reason? Or is that another nutty made up observance day?

I just got back form a 20 minute drive around the neighborhood in my SUV. A few houses are dark, but not more than normal. Most houses have the same or more lights on.

I'm turning on EVERY light in the house @ 8:30 tonight. And doing a load of laundry. Thanks for the reminder. I've turned up the natural gas heat four degrees, turned on the porch light and burning wood in the fireplace. If it helps warm up my area in the world, all the better for us!

In China and India they have festival of lights celebrations. In the decadent self-flagellating West we invented something called an “Earth Hour” to be celebrated in total darkness!

We’re just rolling into it here. Not too many lights on to begin with because its still light outside. I’m not turning lights on or off-as far as I’m concerned it’s just another hour of another day.
