Yes, I'm logged in.
Something happened to my computer when I went to some site where I was supposed to be able to view sports events from around the world. Afterward I ran Malwarebytes and Spybot and I think they each got rid of something. I've cleared my cache.
But I'm still having incredible difficulty with FR. This has been going on for more than a week. Google and my email site always come up as does most everything else I go to. When I've tried other computers I never have a problem (except when FR is really down). This is a Windows 7 computer with IE-9. Suggestions to get an Apple Computer or to use Firefox or Chrome will not be appreciated, but other ideas will.

You clicked on a blog.
That mess will jack you up, tell you what.
FR has been a little slow past few hours ,kind of on and off
I don’t think it’s your computer.
I think FR’s servers are getting fuzzy again. I’m getting slow responses to even no responses.
what was the name of the site?
Have you ‘wound back’ on system restore?
I’d make sure you don’t have a virus. run your AV program or better yet build a MS system sweeper thumb drive on a different ,system if you can, and then boot from the thumb drive.
yeah...it’s sorta slow...
I would lose connection while posting...comes and goes
Mine has been slow to load for some time. I just have to wait. I get anxious and try again only to have to start the wait over again. It appears to have gone back to AT and T and then suddenly appears. I am getting more patient!
One more fund drive and new equipment and servers may help.
It’s working OK now, but I was unable to bring up any articles just a little while ago, when I tried. If FR is slow and everything else works, then probably it’s a problem with FR, most of the timee.
I think the FR squirrels, gerbils, and assorted rodents that power the servers are on coffee break right now.

My wife was having the same problem using IE and I had her try Firefox and the problem went away. You could try Firefox and go from there...
Slow for the past couple of days, then no connection several times in the past few hours. Tried IE9, Opera, and Chrome, all with the same results.
I wonder. Do you have difficulty with the English language?

Your computer is probably set to time out of a connection quicker than others. How to fix that... I haven’t a clue.
But that’s what it sounds like to me.
At work, at home, it's the same story. I don't know what's going on with the website but it needs some attention, that's for sure.
I'm not talking about every once in a while. I have to open three or four instances of IE before I get one that hits. When I go to a different computer (all talking to the same IP) I have yet to experience the same problem.
That is the exact same problem my wife was having with IE and nobody else saw the problem on any of the other computers we have here. Maybe you're the one having difficulty with the English language?
Good Lord, people complaining about Freep being slow ...this isn’t Google with all its money!
I think Jim is doing an awesome job!
To all..quit whining and start contributing more. ha.
I’m not seeing any speed or connection problems. Sometimes it seems a little slow, sometimes not so much. Lately I haven’t noticed any difference. Could be a number of things.
