Hey all just wanted to start a thread to get some perspective on the ages of us here. I know we are a diverse group, but just wonder if the majority is 40 and up and wondering if there is a growing younger crowd signing up here. If it's ok to post this here maybe we can start a FReeper log of:
Name - Age - Sex
I'd understand if people might not want to post this info so if it is a good idea feel free to post.
Richard, 23, Male, as I would hope one would get from the name :p
Wish I did. I’m really beginning to feel the aches and pains of age and there are not pleasant. I’ve always been so active and busy. Now I’m more busy than ever and it’s getting hard to keep up. Enjoy your 50s & 60s because they are good active years. I didn’t start to feel my age until I reached 75. Been kind of down hill since then.
Just turned 55.
My average age is about 29.
Here’s a clue to my age:
I’m watching the Retro TV channels and all the commercials are for assisted living, funeral expense insurance, hip replacement lawsuits.
I’m not quite ready for them yet.
As far as sex, I’m a lesbian trapped in a man’s body.
God is faithful! I’m sorry about your aches and pains but pay attention to what they tell you and don’t overdo it, Nana.
We share a common age. Lurked here since about 2000, joined later. Angry white male.
I’m not complaining RR. I am blessed that I can still work at my profession and keep the grandbaby 4 days a week. She is a real challenge for me and I get plenty of exercise chasing her. She can crawl faster than I can walk. LOL
Skooz. 52. All man, baby.
Looks like the average Freeper age so far would be around 55.
I am a young 59. Was a Lurker for years, joined in 2000.
SD Armstrong
We have a lot in common.
You have me smiling! I’m so happy to see you!
Nowhere else beats our weather in March, April and May and into June before the humidity strikes, so I’m getting out a lot more.
How are you and your beautiful grand babies? I miss you!
We’re going to watch a movie in a few minutes. Good decent movies are difficult to find. This one holds promise, since it’s recommended by eldest son, despite the title: There Be Dragons
Roland Joffé directs this epic tale of love and betrayal set during the Spanish Civil War. When a present-day journalist (Dougray Scott) investigates Opus Dei founder Josemaría Escrivá (Charlie Cox), he uncovers a surprising link to his own father, Manolo (Wes Bentley). Manolo and Josemaría were childhood friends who followed different paths when the war broke out. Josemaría pursued his faith, while Manolo joined the rebels to fight Franco.
((((HUGS and my prayers for you always))))
60 M (46 when I first signed on to FR)
Early Freepers (1998-2000) passing away, and obits with many grandchildren. Many early Freepers were seniors.

50-female-been here since 2001
Yeah, kinda like the E-Trade baby. ;-)
I used to live in Bethel, Kansas, town of about 2 horses and 3 cows - aunt and uncle had a farm in Osborne and I used to spend several weeks in the summer there when I was small. No running water or indoor plumbing. Dated a guy who lived on a farm in Alton and used to ride on the combine with him during summer harvest. Remember when his mom asked me to make some lemonade for lunch. Didn’t realize you actually had to squeeze lemons to get lemonade-ours was out of a can which we kept in the freezer. It was horrible! When we would drive out from Kansas City we always stopped the first night in Wamego. Haven’t been back in forever. In some ways I envy you - but at least I was able to be exposed to it for a while.
I hate copping to being average, but I’m 55 and female.
Great to see you too. I don’t get as much time for FR these days. Strange, I had just about decided to watch a movie that I bought today. “Courageous”. It get great review from AFA. I have to watch alone. Hubby goes to bed with the chickens.
