Now on Fox. Mr. Donnie Dann of the Bird Conservation Network, is on, demanding that the EPA ban lead ammunition as it "is the most toxic substance on the planet and is poisoning America." A guy from the National Shooting Sports Foundation is trying to say that the EPA is, by law, banned from regulating lead in ammunition, but Mr. Dann, doing a great Doctor Emmett Brown imitation, won't have any of it. He displays the 1000 yard, fried, seeing things the rest of us can't see, stare so typical of the deranged left. His group has brought suit to outlaw lead ammunition and he ain't hearing any argument against his stance.
Should be played all through the election season.
People this stupid, in positions of any kind of power, are an active danger to those around them.
And... Is still used for ships ballast. My sorely missed sailboat had 900 pounds of lead ballast as an example. Beautiful and sweet sailing Cape Dory that I sold in the 90’s. Carl Alberg (naval architect) had a fine eye and slide rule for classic designs.
I remember reading decades ago (back when the population of the earth was “only” 2 billion) that a water-glass full of pure botulism toxin, properly distributed, could kill the entirety of humanity.
Anyone got any good sandhill crane recepies?
A dose as small as a few grains of salt can kill an adult.
The LD50 (Leathal dose for 50% of those exposed) of ricin is around 22 micrograms per kilogram (1.76 mg for an average adult, around 1⁄228 of a standard aspirin tablet/0.4 g gross) in humans if exposure is from injection or inhalation.
Ricin has been involved in a number of incidents, including the high-profile assassination of Georgi Markov using a weapon disguised as an umbrella.
No but I have a good one for passenger pigeon if you want it.
The fatal dose of botulism toxin is roughly 1 microgram.
So the UK is free of heavy handed government now? It will take a generation of Maggie Thatchers to fix Britain.
Do you have a link for that lead death stat?
agree, remember when Maggie went after the mines?
I remember one bloke right across form our house when I was a kid who was a miner and asking my foster mam , if he has non money and getting those packages from Russia etc then why doesn;’t he go back to work instead of fighting the police.
Then Maggie got rid of the trains which were ran by the Govt , then the busses went private, and even America still has a rail system which is ran by the Govt
