It had to be an electrical flash of some kind. It was too short to be chemical. They said there was no lightning in the area. Too me, it looks like it emanated from the ground. But it’s too big to be an electrical transformer. I am betting on some unusual form of lightning.

It is a type of lightening in which air molecules move catastrophically to the plasma state. Generally this type of phenomena occurs in areas where the magnetic field has been disrupted.
With the recent solar storms this is a strong possiblity.

I was wondering if it was some sort of light generated by the recording equipment. Something similar to that “beam” shown to be “emanating from” that Mayan pyramid.
But what do I know? I’m a musician.

I'm thinking that camera is
here, on top of that exit sign looking north. I think I can identify a small group of apt. bldgs. on the other side of the highway in the freeze frame on the video.
At any rate, it's near there.

I drew a Google Maps line along the apparent POV from the video and came pretty close to the Lake Pleasant hydroelectric plant, so I think that should be on the short list.

Didn’t Chuck Norris meet with Sheriff Joe that evening? It is possible that when they shook hands the combined he-man force vaporized the air around them for a mile radius. What we saw was a massive release of masculine plasma.
