Looking for some musical help
Reed13k

Posted on 03/09/2012 6:03:51 PM PST by reed13k

Looking for some Freeper musical help - I have a song that I can't recall the title or group from the late 80s early 90s. It is basically a list of cities sung very rapidly one after another. I know there at least two other songs that used a similar technique of stringing words together to a rhythm - one was in I believe the early sixties and the other in the later 90s. I have always been terrible with music titles and group names so looking to see if any FRiends can help me out on a Friday night. Thanks in advance.

"MUSKRAT LOVE - The Captain and Tennille - perhaps the greatest song ever."

There is a special Hell where that song is played over and over its for Child Molesters and people who talk in the theater...

Clarence "Bon Ton" Garlow's 1954 release Route 90 mentions the towns through which the eponymous route passes, from El Paso, Texas to New Orleans. The tune should be familiar to fans of the Beach Boys and Chuck Berry.

Remember the Jagger/Bowie version from the 80's? Nobody can watch that video all the way through and tell me that story about the two of them getting caught in bed together isn't true!

Très Bien!

Maintenant, écoutez comme Petula Clark chante une chanson à partir de 1961!

Hank Snow, Johnny Cash, Asleep at the Wheel had versions of I’ve Been Everywhere.

It was originally an Australian song, but American songsters converted the Aussie town names to American town names.

I’ve heard an Irish version of “Everywhere,” as well as a New Zealand version and a UK version.

Really? Better than Spearmint? Or Ice Cream?
