I sent Pro Flowers an email telling them I'll never buy Sherrie's Berries or Pro Flowers again. And I said it was because of their poor treatment of Rush Limbaugh, a GREAT AMERICAN.
Here is the short response I just got back:
"Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate your email and thank you for openly expressing your opinions. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with our team."
A computer-generated auto-response. No human will see your message or read it.
That’s the same response I got yesterday - so not changing their tune yet.
I spend about $500 every year on ProFlowers for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Get Well, & Sympathy occasions. I didn’t cancel my account because I actually get great service and quality flowers from them.
However, I had to order flowers today so I ordered from another company. I emailed ProFlowers a copy of my receipt and a copy of my ProFlowers order history (7+ years) with a note explaining that their decision will funnel $500 a year to their competitors until they rectify the situation. I added a P.S. that Carbonite has lost 12% of its stock value since they pulled their ads.
I seriously doubt that the people who complained to ProFlowers even buy their flowers. I bet they reconsider pretty quickly.
I used FTD this valentines day. Of course price is no object on this sort of thing. I don’t know if they are RATS or not but they aren’t PRO.
Too late. They've already done damage. I wouldn't let them back. The narrative in the media now is "Rush backed down because loads of companies were so offended they pulled their advertising," and as we know, the media narrative remains, regardless of the facts. If I were Rush I'd tell those 2 sponsers to stick it.
Net flix can’t afford another screw up.
this could be their final nail. They were already on a deathwatch.
Rush should tell them to shove it. Obviously they need him more than he needs them, and if that’s the case, who needs them?
Let them wither and die!
I told ProFlowers to change their name to NoFlowers, after they dumped Rush.
I also shorted CARB for a nice weekly allowance! Thanks, you stupid Liberals!
Wish I could have used the email address you found. When I cancelled my membership all I got for an answer to if they advertise on Rush was, “I don’t know and I don’t know who to tell you to talk to.”
I cancelled because of Rush. I won’t go back because of their lousy customer service.
Proflowers is owned by Jared Polis, a strong homosexual activist. He is one of those guys that strike fear into our hearts with threats of attacks and intimidation. He has used the capitalist system and our freedoms to make himself rich, and press forward on using government to shut up anybody who disagrees with him.
I guess they get rich and then think, ‘Bow down and obey, peasants’. What kind of a mind is that?
Totally off topic, but I have it on good authority that buying a woman “grocery store” flowers, a category in which I’m certain Wal-Mart would fall in to, is a considered to be the basest insult you can give a woman. I learned and I have been using FTD ever since. Yes, you could buy 20 times more for the same money at wally-world, but the results are better when you go all out.
Consider the difference being identical to a buying an engagement ring with a diamond chip vs a 5 caret gem. It does not take a genius to figure out which one women really want.
You got the bug letter:

My brother was an intern for Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro, working constituent services. While most letters fell into a few well defined categories, and received precanned replies, there were occassional exceptions. His favorite assignment was getting to reply to a constituent:
Dear Mrs. Bullatico,
Elvis Presley was a great American and made many important contributions to American music and culture. We will give HR-82-1023, making his birthday a National Holiday, the serious consideration that it deserves.
Thank you once again for taking the time to share your concerns with me,
Yours truly,
Representative Geraldine Ferraro
It’s the thought that counts, and she gets flowers on a regular basis. She also gets a nice dinner out.
Not true. Netflix is THE biggest advertiser on the web stream from WABC (the flagship station for the Rush Limbaugh show).
What would you expect them to do? Personally answer your issues?
I sent an email to carbonite telling them that because they cancelled Rush, I went with Crashplan instead of carbonite.
They sent me a survey axing me how I liked their {carbonite} customer service and would I recommend carbonite to other prospective users.
Big Balls, bad auto email reply.
Are you kidding me? The Colorado politician and all-around menace Jared Polis? That guy seems to own quite a few large businesses.
Yes, I got the same reply although the name on mine was different than the one listed a couple of days ago.

I wrote and told them— I am sorry but since you support my money going towards financing the sexual activities of a 30 year old activist and her friends— I will need to cut costs somewhere.
I will no longer have the money to purchase Pro Flowers, thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Well....you can e-mail them here pr@netflix.com
