I'm as up to speed on posting hyperlinks and pictures in a thread or reply as the average FReeper, but my main source of making Text to HTML is going away.
Currently I'm using an older version of Google Docs that has an edit HTML option. But Google Docs (stupid idiots that they are) will soon be disabling this option.
Most of my FReeping is done at work (shhh - don't tell my IT guys), so I can't download a good text to HTML editor. I also don't have access to Microsoft Outlook for email purposes.
What I've been looking for is a good website that allows an easy generation of hyperlinks and even pictures.
Any ideas?
I might try this.
OK, you go to other formats. But then you save as... what type?
Rich Text Format?
I they’re getting 8 hours each of work done in 4 hours you’ve got an opportunity to expand the business. Keep them both and make some sales.
Should say Web Page somewhere in that list, maybe Web Page Filtered which I don’t actually know what it is and avoid. Also keep in mind that the right click menu usually has Hyperlink on it which will let you do most of your stuff, the hyperlink dialog even has a Browse the web button so you can hotlink pictures and stuff. None of it’s as smooth and easy as a real web editor, but IT installed it for you.

Tell that to the owner or CEO. Or if you're smart tell that person you're being underutilized and are able to take on more responsibility. Lol, every thief has a rationalization. |
My bosses seem to be quite happy with my throughput. There’s no theft. I get the job done. If I’m on a project with very few people that project ALWAYS gets done early. And I’m always capable of “dropping” what I’m on for a SHTF situation. I’m the can do go to guy. And my bosses aren’t dumb, they understand the implication of the guy who can always jump on the emergency when there isn’t one. But because I’m on time, on quality, and on the pinch hit I got a raise when the company is officially not giving raises.
You said you're on salary, not piece work. Fine tell your boss you're posting on forums and see how glad he/she is to learn you're able to drop that anytime something needs to be done. But it's your business, Tom Joad, and not mine. The OP asked and I contributed. |
I am on salary, and there’s a definable job to get done. My boss already knows, it’s how things work out here in the real world where employers know that they’ve hired adults who can behave like adults. Of course given your need to draw attention to yourself and throw insults I’m guessing the whole “adults who behave like adults” thing is a bit outside your life. Here in grown up land we’ve got the features we’ve got the deadline, we’re trusted to get the job done.
You don't know who I am nor what I done, that's not your fault it's the nature of the medium we share, fair enough. You can trust me or not when I tell you I'm familiar with the workplace and the qualities and behaviors that are typical of the successful. |
My bosses, being not stupid, know that people don’t really grind on all 8 hours of the day. They might not know the specifics, but they’re not dumb. They understand that we’re not hourly, that we’re paid to produce a product on time and on quality, and that there is always going to be down time, and that the difference between people looking busy when they’re not or visibly coasting when they can coast is actually a matter of dishonesty vs honesty. And they’d rather their employees not lie to them.
I know everything I need to know about you. You stick your posts in a silly border to draw attention to yourself, you quickly judge people based on basically no information, and you like to throw around insulting labels like “thief” and “brothers in the occupy movement”. All of which pretty much marks you as immature and annoying.
Yes, you do. |
Then just open a new piece of "mail" and start typing. Use any font or color you want. When done, look at the lower left and you'll see tabs. Click on the Source tab and there you'll see the HTML source code for everything you've written.
I use it frequently and it works great.
