The bulk of my time has been spent reading the many books required for this type of class I’m taking. However, there is an interesting documentary on Netflix right now called “Russian Revolution in Color” which has some footage from the eastern front as well as shots from the Russian naval base at Kronstadt. PBS did a series called “The Great War and the Shaping of the 20th Century” which is also very good. It features some of the more predominant and sometimes even controversial historians on the subject like Niall Ferguson and Norman Stone.
Bump to post 21, I forgot to put you on the To: line.
I noticed that too. It's too bad its not real. I do respect the the fact that the Navy is working pretty hard to not overstate their kills.
I ran across something similar to this last fall when I read the book "Red Wings over the Yalu" by Xiaoming Zhang. I found that the author was so focused on correcting the overstatement of American kills over Korea that he missed the fact (for the most part) that he to tended to overstate the Soviet and Chinese kills. Now, to his credit though he did point out the fact, that I agree with, that the best way to get the closest to accurate count on kills is to study the loss reports for the given country. For example, the Luftwaffe will always over report its kills, and may under report its losses, but their internal reports on their losses are likely to be closest to accurate. Those are the numbers I would want to use to represent the number of German planes lost.
Thanks also to you, Cougar, for the reference.

Honestly, I don’t feel like I gave you much, but if I come across anything of significance I will remember to let you know.
