This place gets reviews that range from raves to scowls.
I used to love this place in the early eighties.
I used to get this plate of korean ribs asian bbq beef and bbq fish with rice for like $5
The loco moco was great too.
I was just wondering if anybody else out there had eaten at this dive and what they thought of the place.
Millions of military have been served.
You ever eat at this joint?
Loves me some Loco Moco. Had never had it before until I was there last November for business. Our local folks there hooked me up from there. Very tasty. They brought in local stuff for lunch the whole time we were there. I had been to Hawaii before on vacation but never at the “real” local stuff.
I had a moose burger at the McDonalds in Fairbanks Alaska.
They had some kind of special asian sauce for the burgers too...
I cant get to loco moco.

I’ve never tried that and so I looked it up—it sounds good. I’ve found a few recipes—does this one look right?

Some recipes seem more like a plain old hamburger patty with white gravy and an egg over rice. This one sounded best. I think am going to make this.
Love them local stuff!
Mm.. Puka Dog in Poipu. But please don't ever go to Kauai.. (unless you contact me for your accommodations.)
I would like to try that!
I had moose shoulder in The rangley lakes area of maine.
I forget what town.
It was delicious!
Yes. It’s been about 2 years since we’ve been there, but the family loves it. Normally, you have to wait in a long line.
We were stationed at Pearl Sub-base years ago and found some off he road places we love. We found Romy’s after we were stationed there. We try to go back every few years. We have friends who still live there.
That’s it!
Anything with egg over easy on top is bound to be good!
That’s what TheMom does on top of her famous enchiladas.
Muy Criollo y Sabroso!
Anywhere near Plano?
I've heard that their loco moco is pretty good. (I usually just get the Spam and portuguese sausage breakfast).
Salute to yall from a fellow submariner.
mmmm Loco Moco at Cafe 100 in Hilo.
Since most people have no clue what it is....

It Kinda reminds me of Keller's Burgers in Dallas Lol No it doesn't have ambiance LOL Still, I love these sort of places.
Yes, I am about 35 mi from Plano
The shrimp tacos are in a little dive in Greenville Tx.
Awesome barbacoa too.
I have never been to the L&L
I will check it out!
The best times I had in Hi were hanging out with the locals.
Riding dirt bikes climbing mango trees...
The tourist stuff gets old fast.
Saved for next trip.
Back in the day, many of the bars on the beach had buffet tables with pineapple chunks, shrimp, boiled eggs, artichoke hearts, salads, etc, etc. usually for no more than a buck or two - or zero if the bartender knew you were a tipper.
Egg over enchiladas, I don’t think the mister would go for that one. He’s not even much on a tex-mex omelet.
Going to try that Loco Moco thing!
