BuzzFeed ^ | 1 February 2012 | Unknown

These are all the major ones. Do not attempt any of them unless you have professional experience with (a) sleeping and (b) being some kind of a cat.

Raise your hand if your sleeping cat constantly falls off the window sill.

True story...

Cats can cuss.

Cat was sleeping on top of my old CRT monitor while I was a-FReeping and rolled over onto... thin air.

Came down right at the tips of my fingers on the keyboard.

The cat gets up bleary eyed and walks off around the monitor to go lay back down in a chair, cat cussing all the way.

Mritt, wrow, sssvitt, phitt... all just barely audible. Pretty obvious what it was doing.

That was in 2001, I still laugh at that one.

I can't. To my knowledge only one of the three has and just once. Of course, in this case the window ledge is actually a window seat 16 inches wide...

That would be the same one that sleeps in the bathroom sink. Sorry, no pics.

"Raise your hand if your sleeping cat constantly falls off the window sill."

We had one do this.... once. He stretched out and ever so gently rolled backwards, out our 3rd story window.

We knew he was dead down below.... but when we got there, he was looking around wondering what happened. Of course he clung to the middle of the floor for a while, and when he finally got to, then jumped off the sofa, he collapsed in a heap. The vet told us he was faking it.

That is hilarious. My sister had a cat she did that with. The cat loved it.

LOL! My last one would roll over and fall out of bed. I’d laugh at her and ask her if she’s ok.

She’d sulk off with that look that simply said, “Shut up...”

This cat insisted on learning the same lesson in different manners. We lived in a funky funky old 3 story house. There was a rug porch (a porch just big enough to go out on and shake out a rug) on the back and one day this cat was being such a pain we stuck him out on the porch while we ate breakfast right next to it. We watched him prance around on the railing, then he decided to jump on the outside window sill and hang off the sash.

We watched in slow motion.....

The cat grabbed the sash, which promptly pulled off and fell.

The cat’s eyes flashed open wide, and his mouth flew open, as if to say “Oh Sh**”.

We watched as his body stretched... cartoon like, as he fell, until his head snapped down to follow it.

Mr G and I really loved this cat, and we just KNEW he was dead this time.... but we screamed in laughter until we fell off our chairs, because it was a Wile E Coyote cartoon come to life.

He was ok again, but more cautious about the edges from then on.

“Just because you are obviously some kind of gin-addled hobo doesn’t mean you can’t be nice and warm.”

Amen to that. God bless America! Just please don’t ask me to provide the radiator.
