Newt Gingrich is a brilliant speaker and a brilliant political leader. He demonstrated an opennes and a command of conservatism during his post LasVegas Caucus news conference. Fox News analysts were openly unfair in their analysis of Gingrich's news conference. They were openly jealous that Newt is head and shoulders above Romney, Santorum and Paul. Fox News has blindspots, since only Charles Krauthammer acknowledged Gingrich's superiority over Romney in expressing detailed policy positions such as Obama's denying American Catholics Freedom of Religion by forcing them to violate their beliefs by requiring them to pay for artificial contraception with Obamacare requirements.
Why is that turd still here? He’s been on a jihad against Newt on almost all Newt threads that I have seen. I thought that JimRob said something about that.
I'm with you. I would say that we watch Fox News about 1/10th as much as we did a year ago. We change channels whenever we see the following people:
* Ann Coulter
* Bob Beckel
* Bill O'Reilly
* Brit Hume (never thought I would say that!)
* Charles Krauthammer (again, never thought I would say that)
* Others whose names I am not as familiar with, but who pee their pants with joy every time they talk about Bishop Mitt Romney.

Thanks for posting the video.
I'm probably wasting my time, but I think it is logical, but you will have to take the time to look at the election results thus far.
Let's take Florida. Most of the counties that Romney won are left-leaning and will go with Obama in the fall. The counties that Newt won are the conservative counties which he will win in the fall. This is typical as you follow what Mitt had done thus far.
He is winning the moderates and liberals (and numerous cross over votes that will go almost 100% to Obama). He is clearly NOT winning the conservatives. He CANNOT win the general without the conservative vote.
Ditto on the CNN switch.
Newt hit it out of the park.
I used to watch them for bit of time every night. Now I hardly ever watch. I did watch the debates when they had them. They have not much to offer anymore.

It is amazing Republicans have not learned anything after running McCain last time. He was supposed to be very electable, and had the approval of the media. A very amiable fella who refused to/could not contrast himself from the democrats. Look what that got us.
This time the Repubs are following the same strategy. It is like groundhog day.
My pleasure.
so hurry up Spring so we can plow and plant garden and spend our time out doors.
have a Blessed Sunday all and Newt will get my vote here in Pennsylvania...

Excellent!
Thanks for the link.
Hiya dearest haircutter!
GOOD on you! Isn’t it wonderful to go without news, particularly Faux? I’ve been doing the very same and I’ve quit listening to Rush also! I’ve had it with pundits, hosts and talking heads, telling us tales of doom and gloom, coronating Romney, bashing Newt, and otherwise spoiling our good cheer.
You’re very fortunate to have good weather. We’ve had rain (6 inches) for the past two days here in Mississippi. I am longing to see sunshine and feel some warm weather!
Thank you for the wonderful Sunday blessing. I wish you the same Blessed Lord’s Day. I am so happy to hear from you. You have made my night, dearest GF!! Hugs and prayers, always!
You’re most welcome!
This was an excellent idea by the Gingrich campaign. I just saw a little bit and loved it—the part where he’s talking about Obama’s attack on religious freedom. I think he needs to do this from time to time because it’s an excellent forum for him because he so fast on his feet. It shows what a President Gingrich would look like. Announce that he’s going to do a very important news conference and talk beyond Romney. The press will eat it up because they’ll think he’s about to throw in the towel. Newtie ain’t out of it yet so there’s still some hope. Way to go Newtie! Brilliant move.
I stopped watching ALL of it after the 2006 midterms and haven’t missed it a bit. If they say something that’s of interest, I’ll hear about it on FR anyway. Since this rabid onslaught on Gingrich, I’ve given up most of talk radio too, and I was a big time talk radio junkie. Still tune into some of it on occasion—Prager, Gallagher, and Levin mostly. Was listening to Rush a little bit here and there, but haven’t in the last few weeks. Not because of anything I heard him do, just haven’t tuned in.
Hell, I now get from Faux the same Newt hating dribble as from the text readers at MessNBC and CNN.
I now feel the same way about Faux and the other two as I do Obama and Romney, not a dimes worth of difference.
