Sounds to me like Mommy and Daddy didn’t have the guts to tell her “no” when she was two.
“No, you can’t have chicken nuggets again. Eat your peas.”
“No, I’m not taking you to McDonalds today. Eat your broccoli. Not hungry? That’s okay. I’ll put it in the refrigerator, and when you’re hungry, you can have some later.”

I call BS. There is nothing more than a screaming headline.

What in the world was wrong with her idiot parents? A toddler can’t buy her own Chicken McNuggets.

"In a small portion of fries there are 230 calories, 11g of fat, 29g of carbohydrates, 3g protein and 160mg sodium."
Why is this relevant if all she's been eating are chicken nuggets? In any event I don't believe she's eaten NOTHING but chicken nuggets for the last 15 years.

17 year old looking for 15 minutes. She seems pretty damn happy in all those "advertising" pictures.
Watched kids at the "y". Mom would go to the gym and the kids would eat their McDonald's crap. You soon figure out that it's not about the gym class...but the "I don't wanna cook".
To: Lazamataz
Apparently her picture is in post #3.

If that's all she's eaten since age 2, it sounds like child abuse to me.....or at the least the parents ARE to blame here.

I fear however, someone else will get the blame.

She's not fat enough.
Maybe she can eat some more Chicken McNuggets.

She actually looks pretty healthy.
Anemia is very common in young menstruating females, even those who eat a more varied diet.
Story does not tell us the source of her respiratory symptoms, her fasting lipids, her blood pressure, etc.
So, although I would not (and did not) feed my kids such a diet, there is no evidence from the article that her ER visit had anything to do with Ronald McDonald.

There was a guy at work who pretty much lived on energy drinks, McNuggets and video games. Nice guy, but he was sick ALL the time.
